Korean Beef Galbijim On My Kitchen
A neighbor went to Tagaytay a few days ago to buy fresh beef meat at Mahogany market and since its been a while since we last ate beef, I ordered bulalo and soft bone beef from her.
It was my first time to order and cook soft bone and I don’t know what to do with it hehe. Upon doing some research, I chance upon Korean Beef Galbijim.

When I saw the ingredients I thought it’s perfect since I have all of them in our pantry (except for carrots).
Here are the ingredients:

3lbs Beef Soft Bones or beef ribs
1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
1 can Cola
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
1 tbsp Honey
1/4 cup Rice Wine
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Minced Garlic
1/2 Onion
2 Green Scallions
1 Carrot (unfortunatey I don’t have)
2 Potatoes (or Radish)
2-3 tbsp Sugar

The procedure is quite tricky though, it took me a while to make the meat tender. I only did some research on Youtube. Here’s the easiest I saw so far:
If I have the budget to buy beef meat, I’ll do it again:)
Looks good and delicious! Another ulam idea for us mommy ! Thanks for sharing this with us
