Disneyland Hollywood Hotel Overview
We pursue our Hongkong trip for 4 days after I saw some bloggers/vloggers who went there 2-3 weeks before our scheduled date. Based on the Facebook page of Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong the next protest schedule was September 28. On that day, we were scheduled to exit the country going to Macau already so I think we are safe to continue with our planned trip, and so we did!
For Day 1, I decided to book a hotel room for my family at Disney Resort Hollywood Hotel. It is near the airport and truth be told, minsan lang pumunta ng Disneyland so why not try their hotel kahit one night lang.
Our itinerary for Day 1 was supposed to go to Ngong Ping island to see the temples via cable car. But since they allowed us to check in as early as 10am (it was supposed to be 3pm), we decided to just stay in the room, sleep and just take a rest. We woke up around 4pm and decided to go have lunch/dinner at City Gate Outlet mall at Tung Chung station. Ang mahal kasi ng food sa hotel.
Disneyland Hollywood Hotel
I chose this hotel for the reason that it offers the cheapest rate among the 3 hotels in Disney Resort. It’s still quite expensive for around HK$1500 per night (more or less P10,000 per night), but if you want to experience Disney Hotel then you might want to consider checking in here. Take note that the price is higher for peak seasons.
As I have mentioned, they allowed us to check-in as early as 10am, that was 5 hours earlier than the published check-in time of 3pm.
Checking in was a breeze. They just asked for our passports, recorded it in their system and then gave us the key to our room.
OUR ROOM
Our room has a garden view in the 5th floor. It has 2 Double Beds.
I’m particular with bed and pillows and I can say that theirs did not disappoint. It was so comfy that we immediately snoozed after a few minutes of lying down.
The bathroom has a bath tub, but unfortunately they don’t have a bidet. The amenities includes the following:
They also have slippers in 4 different sizes.
At night time, kids can watch the Disney story exclusive in this hotel. Pangpatulog!

You also have a complimentary pool access, but we were not able to use it. Sayang may dala pa naman akong pangligo.
Every guests also has this discount and gift voucher inside the room.
I like that they have an adaptor inside the room, di na kami bumili.
There is a complimentary bus from Disney park to all the 3 Disney Hotels. You can actually visit one after the other. We were only able to check 2 (our hotel – Hollywood and Disneyland Hotel. Hindi namin napuntahan ang Disney Explorer Lodge). My sister and her friend were able to check them all.
As much as we want to try their breakfast buffet, unfortunately the rate was over the top for us. Usually breakfast buffet here in the Philippines are already included in the room rate, but not in Disney Resort. It is to be purchased separately kahit ang mahal na ng hotel rate nila.
Buffet breakfast ranges from HK$258 or above, lunch is HK$338 or above and dinner is HK$428 or above.
Another advantage of hotel occupants was that we were given a priority pass for 4. We can use it for one show or ride inside the Disneyland Park.
But because there were only a few visitors during our trip, we were not able to use it. Waiting time at the park was only 5-10 minutes (more about this on my next post).
You can also find unique items inside the souvenir/merchandise area. But again, prices are high here.
I was asked if sulit nga ba mag stay sa Disneyland Hotel. The term “sulit” is the same with practicality. Well if you are on a tight budget, staying here is not recommended. It is not practical, period.
But if you think you’ll never be able go back here for another trip and you want to feel the ambiance of Mickey’s hotel or you want to be near the Disneyland park then you might want to consider staying here even for just a night.

Been waiting for this and saddened na di kayo natuloy sa planned date talaga but finally, i can see happy faces ng ma push na eto. This place will always be part of our bucket list, ang dalhin ang kids dito. I remember my kumare bringing her only son sa HK , it was his 7th bday and instead of throwing a party at home, they chose to bring the boy here. Andami nyo di nasulit Momsh noh like the pool, the ride/show pero panalo kayo sa earlier time na pwde na mag check – in. If i have enough budget id also try staying at their hotel pero 1 night lang kung ngayun na alam kong pricey pala. Pero srysly, if tight budget, wais if skip nalang staying sa hotel and booked for cheaper ones para magamit sa ibang expenses pa.π Makapag-ipon nga din lalo 3kids ko mas mahal talaga. Salamat sa pasilip Mommy, happy to know nag enjoy kayo esp Ren. Waiting for the next oneπ

nice idea! kasi andon si Mickey sa restaurant. Kahit ang kunti ng tao sa Disneyland, hindi kami nakapagpa picture sa kanya (reason to go back siguro hahaha). Kung kakain kayo sa restaurant nila, sure na mami meet nyo sya at makakapag papicture ng walang pila.

dati sabi ko pag 7 si Ren doon namin isi celebrate, kaso walang ipon, kaya namove. Ayung 12 na sya nung nagpunta kami. Pero ang saya pa din nya π
We went to HK last summer and stayed there for 6 days. My son really liked to stay in one of Disney’s hotel but since my husband’s childhood bestfriend is living in HK, we were offered free accommodation sa apartment niya so we grabbed it instead. Sayang din. Hahaha. It was a great trip. And the kid in me would really like to go back there in Disneyland. Might consider staying in their hotel for a night. Ipon-ipon nalang to really enjoy the stay π
or perhaps try their restaurant than staying inside the hotel. I think mas okay π we might consider it kapag bumalik kami don, para matry ang buffet nila.
Omg ang ganda sa Hongkong Disneyland, kaso yung nga mahal. Masaya ako para sainyo mamsh na naexperience at nakapunta na kayo dyan. Ang gaganda nung mga laruan na tinignan ni kuya gandang collections.
yes ang ganda ng mga toys, pero ang mahal at dagdag bagahe din kaya sabi ni husband sa Pinas na lang daw hahaha
Ang pricey kahit iyon na yung pinaka mura. But then it was all worth the nice experience, lalo na if sa mga gaya Ng once in a lifetime experience, I think it’s the experience that counts. I’m happy that you enjoyed your trip with your family Mommy Levy. Napaka detailed din nitong blog mo π
