A day at Wensha Spa with some mommy friends
These mommy friends are my batch mates in blogging. They are not active in the blogging world anymore (except for Mommy Pehpot) but we remained friends on and off the internet.
Today, we decided to catch up with each other’s lives, unwind and spend a relaxing day at Wensha Spa in Pasay. We bought a discounted voucher from Metrodeal.
The voucher is good for 6 hours stay. We entered around 10am. After checking our reservation, they asked us to sign a waiver and then gave each one of us a bracelet with a number (for our lockers). Shoes are not allowed inside the area, so you need to remove and deposit it first.
We don’t like the texture of their slippers, so I hope they will allow guest to bring their own next time. After surrendering your shoes, you can now go to the locker room. You’ll get 1 set of pajama and up to 2 pieces of towels. Taking photos are not allowed here, take note.
Ganito itsura nung pajama na pinili namin at yung tsinelas na ang lagkit sa paa haha.
Since the sauna is open starting 11am, we decided to eat first. Shabu-shabu style was the only choice we have at that time. The buffet area is open starting 11am pa kasi. I’m glad that my friend Nicquee brought some banana bread with chocolate toppings that she baked. We partnered it with Wensha’s brewed coffee (that we all love). Perfect combination, ANG SARAP!!!
After eating our breakfast, we then proceeded to the wet area. By the way, phones and clothes are not allowed in that area. Also, you need to remove not only your clothes but even your underwear when you go to the Jacuzzi. I’m glad I’m comfortable with the people I’m with kaya naman keribels na lang. Saka buti kami lang yung asa area that time. I don’t think I could do that with other people around. Pero it’s so liberating ha kahit friends mo pa kasama mo.
We took a shower first before dipping in the Jacuzzi. They have a lot of shower areas and they have a complete set of shampoo, conditioner and body wash (at hindi tinipid ha, ang laki ng lalagyan in fairness).
The Jacuzzi has both hot and cold area, plus may TV din. Pero useless and TV sa amin, daldalan lang kami ng daldalan e haha. After the Jacuzzi, we went to the sauna area. They area open 24 hours, but they have a schedule for Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam Bath.
After that we went ahead to the massage area. The area was huge and can accommodate a big group. The massage was good for me, but we were required to give tips. You need to sign a form with the amount on it that you’ll pay upon checking out. I’m used to giving tips naman, it’s just that it’s my first time to write it down 🙂
I think okay lang naman kasi nga wala kaming gamit na dala, kaya para siguro hindi makalimutan pinapasulat na nila.
After our massage, we then ate our lunch. Madami naman food choices.
Overall, I think sulit na yung P756 na binayad namin for everything we did and experienced. Do not expect too much from the facilities though. Their towels are old (if they will allow to bring and use your own towel next time siguro mas okay pa). Their comfort room is not yet finished. The dining area is huge but some chairs have stains on it, though kahit papaano comfortable naman sya upuan. Nagtitipid sila sa kuryente kaya hindi open ang aircon at ilaw sa ibang areas. The parking lot is huge too, kaya walang problema kung may dala kang sasakyan.
It’s advisable to bring friends with you para masaya ang experience mo.
