Our Small Bathroom Had a Makeover

Last time, I posted that I found out that All Home has this free consultation with their interior designer as long as you’ll buy all items needed in their store. I always wanted to have our house renovated, but because of past experiences ayoko ng magpadalos-dalos at magpagawa basta-basta.

The interior designer went to our house to check the area I want to be renovated. I decided to do the bathroom first. Here’s the thing, I find that the bathroom is one of the area that should look nice and clean, kaya ayun ang pinauna ko. Plus, it’s the smallest part of our house and that we can still stay inside while they’re fixing it.

The interior designer and a crew from All Home asked for the things we want to happen and measured the area to be renovated. She then sent me the quotation of the items that they will use and what they look like.

It’s a good thing that All Home is near us because I was able to check the items personally and made some adjustments from her proposal.

This is what our bathroom looked like when it was turned-over to us by our subdivision’s management.

We did not make any improvement from then until now.

We chose this kind of toilet and sink because the design is easier to wipe. BTW, this particular HCG items can only be bought in package which includes toilet, sink, tissue and soap holder. We decided not to put the tissue and soap holder because it doesn’t fit with our compact toilet.

We also chose a stainless square rainfall shower head. There’s a cheaper chrome version of this but we are thinking of the long term functionality.

Regarding the enclosure, the designer advice us to get one so that the floor area of the toilet will not get wet every time we take a bath or use the faucet. She chose this double sliding door because it’s modern looking and just perfect for our bathroom’s small space.

The contractor that I’ve got was also recommended by All Home. But before I decided to get them I asked 2 contractors around our area first. Sabi ko nga ayoko na ng padalos dalos kahit gaano kaganda ang gamit mo kung di marunong yung gagawa, wala din.

They gave me the cheapest quotation and because they’ve been working with All Home mock-up store designs, I decided to try them.

I am so happy that they did a good job and they did not leave the area undone. Pulido!

It took them exactly 7 days to finish the job.

What I like about getting the items at All Home is that they have free delivery for orders worth P5,000 within 5km radius. I also tried to order additional tiles adhesive from them and they agreed for a COD payment scheme. It’s also easy to return and exchange items and the staff are all very helpful in selecting which one to get.

The interior designer, did not submit a design prior to the quotation because the area is small lang naman, but she said she’ll do one for the next area we want to be renovated.

My next target area is the living and dining room and I’m planning to rent a house when we decide to have it renovated.

Ohhhh I need more moolah to make this thing into a reality, I’m looking at Affordable Blinds for some inspiration on matching window treatments as well!
