Tough Mama Stainless Steel Rice Cooker Review plus a Giveaway

Our existing rice cooker got broken a few weeks ago. I thought that it will last long because I’m quite familiar with the name of the brand. Also, I chose it because it looks so cute. But unfortunately, just a few weeks after I got it, the non-stick inner pan got scratches already. It’s hard to remove brown rice on a non-stick (which I didn’t know until I tried it), that’s why it got scratches from cleaning. That’s why when it got broken, I told myself to purchase a stainless steel inner pan instead.

I’m having trouble with cooking rice in a stove, so when it got broken I immediately went to the nearest appliance center in our area and looked for a better replacement.

This Tough Mama Rice Cooker made with stainless steel caught my attention. It’s the one I’ve been looking for and the design is perfect for my minimalist kitchen design. The only disadvantage was it is not available in a smaller version, only the 10-cup capacity is available for now. But nevertheless, I think it’s good enough for us. I bought it for P1600 I think (I can’t remember the exact amount).

The stainless steel inner pan is so easy to clean and there is no scratches when I scrub it, I super love it.

Since I want to see the other Tough Mama beauty, home and kitchen appliances, I joined other mommy bloggers at the Tough Mama Cooks event at Flossom Kitchen in Greenhills last February 19.

The host of the event is Karen Kabuhat, we had games, raffles and chikahan moments. It’s a perfect mom’s day out.

PLUS we learned how to cook some delightful dishes using Tough Mama small appliances from Chef Jam Melchor. I like the Tough Mama 8-in-1 Multicooker that he used for cooking various dishes. I want to have one for me.

If you are a loyal reader of my blog, I’m sure you know that I’ve been doing bento for my son when he was in kinder up to Grade 2. I just stopped when I noticed that I don’t need to beautify his food anymore because there’s no need for it. He is not a picky eater and he can eat whatever I prepare for him. What I do was just to make sure to provide a balanced baon for him which includes fruit, veg, meat and rice.

Besides the 8-in-1 multicooker, I’m also planning to get their Glass Gas Stove (which I think is also perfect for my kitchen), waffle maker and stand fan.

    honestly it’s been months, nearly a year now since our rice cooker got broken and not safe to use anymore as it sparked for some reasons and relate sa scratches too. I guess this one from Tough Mama is all i need and will buy it pretty soon. Saw some appliances that worth buying esp the waffle maker ☺️ I only have flat iron of this brand kaya alam ko matibay eto.     Coffee lover i drink coffee 3 times a daylalo na pag wala akong ginagawa. Also nagfe feed din si lo ko sa bote kaya ma aksaya talaga sa gasul dahil maya’maya ang pakulo n tubig. Mukhang makakatipid sa gasul pag electric kettle ang gagamitin. Kaya sana palarinπŸ˜‰
