Learn a new language through DUOLINGO
One of the things included in our curriculum as a homeschooler is for my son to learn a new language. In the school where we have our curriculum, the kids are taught the Mandarin language. But since we are homeschooling, we have an option to choose what language my son wants to learn.
He is fluent in English and can understand the Filipino language, when I asked him what language he wants to study he chose French.
I looked around for a tutor and I can’t find one near our place plus it’s quite expensive too. It’s a good thing I chanced upon this site called DUOLINGO.
I signed up immediately to see what they offer, I checked it and introduced it to Ren. I’m so happy that I discovered it.

My son loves it too because it’s like he’s just playing games. You have the option to Read, Listen, Speak.
Each lesson includes a variety of speaking, listening, translation, and multiple choice challenges.

It’s my goal this year to learn new skills and a new language is one of those. I usually take free courses at Coursera and Udemy but this will be a great app to use too.

This is something new. My kids are watching YouTube vids in Spanish and Japanese and surprisingly, they are slowly learning the language. Masubukan nga π
I will definitely download this app, thanks for sharing. nasa Public School anak ko but I want them to learn more language too. kasi dba parang ang galing ng mga kids na marunong ng ibang language aside sa mother tongue.
