Philippine Homeschool Convention 2018
As I have mentioned in my previous post, we are homeschooling this year. We are already in our 4th week (we started just this month, following the school calendar of our provider – International British Academy).
I know my husband and I still have a lot of things to learn in this journey with our son. We are lucky that in today’s generation, more and more parents are considering and choosing to homeschool their kids, thus there are a lot of resources available everywhere.
But, even though you can get a lot of information online nowadays, I know that listening to people who succeeded in doing it and seeing the faces of the people behind the books, blogs, and other medium is still different. That’s why I highly recommend attending seminars, talks, and conventions related to homeschooling. Through this, we will know how to start, how to go on, be inspired and meet other homeschoolers.
This year, Philippine Homeschool Convention with the theme “On Fire” will happen again at SMX Aura on September 22. As in previous events, the convention aims to gather Filipino parents—particularly but not limited to homeschoolers—and provide them with the inspiration and encouragement that they will need for the different stages of their homeschooling journey. Here, we will discover different learning resources and tools, which will help enrich your children’s educational journey, and your family’s journey, too.
