Online Shopping Experience with S&R using Honestbee App

I heard about Honestbee from my co-mommies before. They love the convenience this service brings to their life. But as much as I want to try their service also, unfortunately, I can’t since they are not available in our area.

It’s a good thing that I’ve got a tip wherein I can choose a location near my place and make the items I order delivered there.

Do you think that’s a nice tip?

Before I answer that, let me tell you that S&R partnered with Honestbee for their patrons to enjoy their products without the need of going to their stores to shop.

S&R members can now purchase the items they need without leaving their house. But if you are not a member of S&R don’t fret because you can still have a chance to order from them. But they will ask for an additional 5% from your shopping list as a payment for being a non-member.

Okay so let’s go back to the question, does going to a nearby area to get your items (if your area is not yet included in their list of services) a nice thing to do?

My answer will be yes if you will order P2,500 worth of items and you want to take advantage of the P500 discount. If your transpo going to the place is less than P500 then I think it is okay.

The convenience? Well, it depends on your perspective, going to the store and doing an aisle to aisle visit for every item you need, takes a lot of your time. If you think you can use that time to do other important things then having Honestbee do the groceries is recommended.

Here are the products I have purchased today.

To be honest, I was craving for some items that are exclusive to S&R, such as the Moringa Citrus juice and Petite Cinnamon Roll. I did not sign up to be a member so I don’t have the opportunity to purchase these items unless a friend who’s a member invites me to come with them when they shop. Kaya nakakatuwa talaga ‘tong naisip nila to partner with Honestbee.

But there’s a concierge fee ha, it depends on the store and area. For S&R, they charged me a concierge fee of P120. I think it’s a fixed amount and does not depend on your total purchases.
