Our Kasa Luntian Tagaytay Staycation
Summer is already over and some students are now going back to school and the rainy season is now starting. My family hasn’t been to any getaway this year, so a few days ago I decided to use the voucher I’ve bought at Deal Grocer for a quick escape to Tagaytay.
Tagaytay is one of our go-to-place for a quick trip. Since we don’t have a car, we choose hotels that are easily accessible by public vehicles. When I saw that Kasa Luntian is just along Calamba-Tagaytay road but is still secluded from the main street, I thought that it’s a perfect destination for us.
We went there last Sunday, standard check-in time is at 3PM, but since we arrived around 2:30PM, they let us in in our room already. The front desk is located at the Lanai by the way. It’s at the right side of the 7/11 store.
We’re so lucky too that they upgraded our Junior Suite room to One Bedroom that day (which I don’t know why, but we are thankful for that). I paid P3,850 (instead of the published rate P5,200 from Deal Grocer), that is for the Junior Suite. For the One Bedroom suite the price from Agoda is P4,555 instead of the published rate P6,650.
Upon checking, Booking and Agoda offer it cheaper (P100 difference) than the price in Deal Grocer. (CORRECTION: mas mura pala sa Deal Grocer kasi may tax and other charges pa sa Agoda, so lumalabas yung Junior Suite nila asa P4,500)
They will require you to give an accidental deposit of P1,000 that you can redeem back when you check out.
Here’s what our One bedroom room looks like.
It’s unfortunate that we were not able to access the cable, but that’s okay because they have a Smart TV and my son was able to watch YouTube there.
We have a King Sized Bed with Uratex Mattress (I checked it to be sure haha). They also have safety deposit box, hair dryer and iron and board inside the cabinet.
They offer a fully equipped kitchen which has an empty refrigerator with ice cubes container, gas range, microwave oven, rice cooker, a Nespresso machine (but they don’t offer coffee bullets for this), knife set, chopping board, kitchen utensils, wine glasses, cookware, dishes, and silverware.
There is also a terrace in our room, but unfortunately, our location doesn’t have a nice view, we even made sure to close the glass door because there were some staff working on theΒ other building.
The bathroom and comfort room are separated (we like that they have a bidet). And they have a complete set of toiletries.
The Pool
They have a total of 6 small pools. The deepest is just 4ft. perfect for my son. I am confident to let him transfer from one area to another.
They also have a changing and shower room in the area.
They also have ledge loungers around the area if you get tired of swimming.
Big families can accommodate this cabana. They are allowed to bring snacks/food but not alcoholic beverages.
My son and I enjoyed playing in the water. Stay tuned for our video soon.
Mas matangkad na sya sa’kin huhuhu
Here’s a picture of Ren and his dad, look at the greenΒ surroundings π
They have a small playground for toddlers.
We had our breakfast at Taza Mia at the Lanai area (will post about this next).
Overall, we had a wonderful stay in Kasa Luntian. It has a nice location, even way better than Crosswinds because it is more accessible and nearer to the main road and other areas of recreation.
As usual, here is our family picture taken in our room π
I think they still have a discounted offer at Deal Grocer, go check them out.

HOW TO COMMUTE:
We took the Emilio Aguinaldo route and dropped off at Rotonda/Fora Mall Tagaytay. From there you can opt to ride a tricycle (fare is around P30-P40), or you can wait for a Jeep going to People’s Park or Picnic Grove for only P8 per head. Tell the driver to drop you off at Kasa Luntian. You can see their signage on the left side.

Looks like a great place to stay! I always wanted my family to have a staycation in Tagaytay kc hnd pa kame makapunta ng Baguio so isa sa mga option is sa Tagaytay na lang. Will take note of this.

My sister recently visited and her 5 year old wont stop talking about how much fun they’ve had. The place looks nice in your photos. Will consider it next time we visit Tagaytay.

We’re dying for a family vacation. I will consider this. I haven’t tried Deal Grocer but I will look into their travel deals to check. We used Agoda when we booked for Baguio last December.

We didn’t have a getaway or beach trip this year as a family. I was able to have a trip with friends though which I badly needed! I have been wanting to take the kids to Tagytay for the weekend but we also don’t have a car. This would help alot! Also love good deals. I find DealGrocer a bit pricey even with the discount but this is pretty affordable.

Parang sulit din sa discounted rate, ang-galing na-upgrade yung room nyo?
Masarap yung food? π

Will definitely include Kasa Luntian if we will be in Tagaytay. My kids will definitely love the place because of the swimming pool.
