Review: JBL JR300BT Kids Wireless Headphones
In today’s generation, kids pastime includes playing games in their phones/computers or watching “anything” in YouTube. I use gadget time as a reward for a work well done for my son too. He is allowed to use gadgets for a maximum of 3 hours per day. That’s the “thing” now in this generation, and as a parent what we need to do is to guide them and make sure that they are watching and hearing good and educational stuff.
With regards to that, I’m happy that companies like JBL have thought of an idea to help kids enjoy their gadgets without hurting their ears plus they can move freely because IT’S WIRELESS!!!
No wires means no tangles, yay!!!
Yes! When I heard about this, I thought that this is perfect for my hyperactive son.
The JBL® JR300BT headphones was launched at Kidzania last year and recently at Up Town Center in Quezon City but unfortunately we were not able to come.
That’s why we’re so thankful that they have sent one unit for my son to review.
We’ve got the color called Rocker Blue. The other colors are Tropic Teal and Punky Pink.
Here’s an unboxing of my son in his YouTube channel.
As he has mentioned in his video, a sticker pack is included inside. They can use it if they want to make their headphones more personalized and as unique as they are.
JBL® JR300BT are built with kid-friendly buttons for effortless listening and easy controls. Plus this headphones are designed to ensure the volume is always below 85dB to protect hearing.
It also has a soft padded headband and ear cushions making it more comfortable, I even actually want one for myself haha.
Another feature is that, it is lightweight and flexible. You can fold it, twist it and my son even tried to bent it.
It also has 12 hour battery life and a quick-recharge (get 1 hour battery life with 10 minutes charge).
Perhaps the only thing I would want them to consider is a carry case for the headphone so that when you’ll put it inside your bag it will not have any scratch on it.
But that’s just a small concern compared with the overall benefit you can get with this unit. This JBL J300BT unit cost P2,999 each and it’s for kids ages 3-12 years old.
Thank you JBL!

My son has these and he loves them! I tried them out myself and I thought they sounded pretty good too. They’re certainly not “audiophile quality” but they get the job done as kid’s headphones.

Hi, may I check can this headphone be connected to the in-flight system so that the kids can use in the plane?
Mommy Levy says
I’m not sure about the in-flight system, but if that’s Bluetooth yes they can use this.
