Our Family Staycation at Bellevue Manila

Last Sunday, my family and I went to Bellevue Manila to have a staycation. It’s a birthday getaway for my husband who recently turned 40 this month. My husband is not comfortable travelling in far areas (even just an hour ride like Tagaytay), so since it’s his birthday, I opted to have a staycation near our place in Daang Hari, a five star hotel in Alabang.

There are at least 5 nice hotels in Alabang that I have choosen from (and we haven’t been to any of them). I opted for Bellevue Manila for our first Alabang staycation because I heard from mommy friends who are frequent here that they serve the best tasting breakfast, their beds are comfy and the rooms have bathtubs.

Check-in is at 3PM, I was expecting less people in the lobby because it’s a Sunday and the usual check-out time is at 12PM. But it looks like guests the other day are just checking out when we arrived, ang daming tao!

We went down to visit the Main Wing’s pool area around 5PM and here’s what the lobby looks like without people around.

Since I don’t have a credit card, we were asked to give 2,000 deposit that is refundable upon checking out.

Our assigned room was on the 17th floor.

We got a Deluxe Room with king sized bed in the Tower Wing area of Bellevue Manila. Yes they have 2 buildings (Main and Tower Wing) the Tower wing was said to have bigger rooms at mas bago.

The bed is comfy and the pillows are soft, we love it.

We enjoyed the bathtub too (plus they have a bidet yey).

I forgot to bring a comb, I’m glad that I had a Keratin Hair Rebond, my hair is more manageable, konting blow dry lang pwede na 🙂

We had a quick trip to their pool area, ang lamig ng tubig kasi makulimlim ang panahon. That’s why we preferred our bathtub in the room more kasi may heater.

Sa ginaw ng tubig, hindi ko maigalaw ang mga braso ko haha.

We got our complimentary welcome drinks here too.

The other day, we excitedly went to Cafe d’ Asie in Main Wing for our breakfast. I needed to pay Ren’s breakfast for half the price since he’s just 9 year old.

I think he ate more food compared to us, kaya sulit nya ang buffet breakfast.

OVERALL, If I will be going to compare our Bellevue Manila staycation to our other hotel staycations, I can say that I am very much satisfied with what we’ve got. I got the best value for my money and I will surely go back here next time. Now I understand why most of my Southerner mommy friends love it here.
