Bijin Nabe: A Japanese ‘Beauty Hot Pot’ now in Manila
This year I’ll be turning 36, four more years and I’ll be on my 40s. I believe that age is just a number, but I should be conscious of what I eat now if I want to age gracefully and be able to live my life to the fullest, right?
One of my recent discoveries for great food is located at the 2nd floor of S Maison in Conrad Hotel. The name of the restaurant is Bijin Nabe by Tsukado Nojo. It is a unique Japanese farm-to-table concept restaurant that serves this interesting dish, a Signature Beauty Collagen Hot Pot called Bijin Nabe.
I like the simple interior of the restaurant, it has this earthly color that makes it cozy and relaxing.
The brand is the brainchild of the Tsukada Nojo (Japanese for “Tsukada Farm”)- a pioneering private farm from the Miyazaki Prefecture in Kyushu, Japan – which is acclaimed for its high quality poultry raising methods.
Considered as the ” kobe beef of chicken”, Jidori is a special breed of chicken that’s meatier and more sinewy, making them tastier and richer in collagen.
I did not took pictures much, because I want you to see the whole process in preparing this dish so mostly I took videos. (All the photos here are from ARC PR’s FB page)
So, here is a video that shows what happened during the Bijin Nabe launching plus a clip on how this dish has been prepared. This will give you an idea what to expect when you try it.
Thank you for the awesome meal Bijin Nabe!

I’m nearing my 40s too so I really need to watch what I eat! Looks yum, I guess not all restaurants can claim that they have high quality poultry. Would love to try eating there one of this days!

I felt confused there :)) I though it’s just ordinary food lang. Hehehe. Would still love to try it though 🙂

Interesting Japanese dish. Collagen is essential to keep our skin youthful and having to eat a meal that can boost this component is pretty awesome. I wonder how much should one consume to maintain a good level of collagen.

I’ve always wanted to try hotpot kasi it’s healthier and para maiba naman from the usual food na sineserve sa mga resto. Whenever I see hotpots, I remember ang japanese cartoons. I’m a fan kasi 🙂

My husband loves Japanese food and when I first read about this, I thought of him agad. But then I do not know if he will feel comfortable when I tell him the food is rich in collagen. Hehehe. He often projects the macho image and he would equate collagen to beauty thus have doubts if he will make patol my invite to this restaurant.

Interesting! I’m also turning 36 this year, and yeah, I’m also conscious on what I eat and started using Moisturizer with collagen and taking vit.C with Collagen coz I heard it’s the best defense against aging and helps minimize wrinkles. This Collagen Beauty Hot Pot seems a must try with my amigas. Thanks for sharing 😊

Love this style of presentation and food. I’ve had one like this before from a different restaurant, but this one looks really delicious with more ingredients. The collagen part of the dish is very interesting. Haha I was trying to imagine what it was. 🙂
