Let’s Light Up Other Barangays Using #ThankUTogether

Have you watched the video of Lady’s Choice where they helped give light to Barangay Sitio Naubo? If not yet, watch it here:

Isn’t it heartwarming? It was for me because I remember my childhood days when I was spending my summer vacation in our province in Tarlac.  At that time, people slept early because they only have candles to light the night. My cousins told me that they needed to finish their school assignments and projects as soon as they arrived home because when the clock strikes 6 PM it’s already dark.

I was surprised to know that there are still barangays in different parts of the country that until now are not yet reached by technology, it’s quite disappointing, really!

I’m glad that private companies like Lady’s Choice are initiating to light up far-flung areas. Let’s help them mommies! As of now there are 84 family pictures in Instagram with the hashtag #ThankUTogether and we need more!!

The Christmas spirit reminds us to be thankful of the many blessings we got and to spread the love. I’m posting our picture from last year’s Christmas to encourage you to do the same. Lady’s Choice will be tracking the posts weekly on Facebook and on Twitter. After 5,000 posts are reached, Lady’s Choice will provide solar lamps to 100 households of Sitio Casili, Brgy San Antonio, Antipolo, Rizal who have been living without electricity.
