Ad: Celebrate this Christmas together with your Family with Lady’s Choice!
It breaks my heart to seeΒ a dad or a mom leaving his family to work abroad. I know that these parents only want a good future for their family and will endure emotional pain just to be able to provide the financial needs of the people they leave behind. I know they don’t want to do that but sometimes situations force them to do so.
We are not rich, but my mom did her best to help us finish our studies even though she is a widow and need to do all the work on her own. I know she wanted to go abroad to find a greener pasture but she stayed because she doesn’t want to leave behind 3 small kids with other people.
Since Christmas is just around the corner, Β let’s talk about the importance of being together even if you lack finances. My poor family make sure to have a merry Christmas every year. Our family’s tradition is to spend it at our house every Christmas eveΒ then we go to our province in Tarlac and spend the rest of the days up to New Year there.
When I landed on my first job, I promised myself that I will give back and share some of my blessings to my relatives in the province. I’ve been hosting a mini get together with games and prizes for the kids and kids at heart for more than 10 years now. It was fulfilling, and they are always looking forward to it every year. My aunties on the other hand, who are good cooks always prepare various dishes for the entire clan.
Making other people smile and laugh is one of the things I want to accomplish in life.
I also like it when private companies make a campaign that helps other people in need. Just like what Lady’s Choice is doing this year. Watch the heartwarming video below.
WARNING: I was teary eyed after I watched this because I remember my childhood at the province when we only use candles and lamps to lighten up the night.
Lady’s Choice wants to light up this Christmas for others by having everyone post heartwarming photos of their favorite Family Christmas Moments and for every photo shared you help light up the holidays for others.
Here’s a sample picture of my family:
Now I encourage you all to do the same and to share your favorite Family Moments on social media and use the hashtag #ThankUTogether to help light up the Christmas season for families in need.
I can’t wait to see your family’s picture!
