The Dining Room at Mount Sea Resort Cavite
My family had a great time during our staycation at Mount Sea Resort. We had a good night sleep, we had fun at the pool area, we felt relaxed with the surroundings and of course we enjoyed their sumptuous meal offerings.
Mount Sea Resort does not only cater to local residents, during our stay there, they have some Japanese, Koreans and Americans as their guests. That’s why The Dining room provides international cuisine for everyone.
Here’s a sneak peek of what we had during our stay.
FOR DINNER
We were quite hungry this time, so we decided to choose Filipino dishes.
Fried Chicken Special P285.00
My son loves chicken, so this was his order. It was recommended to us by the staff too and Ren enjoyed it so much, he was able to finish this all by himself. Oh no, don’t get me wrong, it’s not only good for one person, they have a huge serving and I think this one is big enough for 2-3 persons. Ren was just so hungry and as I have said he loves the taste of this dish.
This special chicken also comes with special homemade gravy and some chips on the side.
Kare-Kare P395.00
I like the flavor of the thick savory peanut sauce plus the beef is so tender. It is good for 2-3 persons. My husband enjoyed the dish except that he finds the string beans crunchy (gusto nya kasi lutong luto).
Besides the taste, what we like about this restaurant is that there servings are bigger than what it looks like on their menu.
Sinigang na Hipon
Whenever I have a chance, I always order shrimp. I finished this dish on my own because my husband is allergic to shrimp. I think I only gave 1 or 2 pieces to Ren, I counted the shrimps and it was like around a dozen. Sobrang busog ko after ko kainin ‘to. I like everything here, the shrimps are huge and fresh and the vegetables are well cooked.
For our drinks, I had fresh buko juice while the boys had iced tea.

Their servings is really huge, sulit!
We’re already full but we reserved some space for desserts. Ren had this Banana Split P220, which he shared with his dad while I ordered Caramel Custard P65 (aka leche plan).

FOR LUNCH
As much as we wanted to stay for a while, unfortunately the time comes that we need to go. But before we checked out, we decided to have our lunch here first. We ordered light dishes (as we thought they were).
Kani Salad P195.00
I ordered this because I’ve been craving for it for a while now. I can say that this is one of the best Kani Salads that I ever had. It has a generous amount of crab meat, Japanese mayo, yellow mango, green salad and cucumber. Oh my as I am typing this I am drooling with it and wanted to go back to have this again.
As I have mentioned, the picture of the dish on their menu differs on the actual (in a good way). The one on the menu looks smaller than the actual when served (see picture below).
Beef and Mushroom Salpicao Pasta P320
The pasta is al dente and the sauce is creamy. Make sure you have someone to share this with if you can’t finish it all. I was able to bring home some of this dish because the serving was too big for me.
Bacon Mushroom Melt Burger P235.00
Ren ordered this one. The first layer was full of mushroom with mayo, then the second layer is the burger patty with cheese, lettuce and cucumber. It was served with french fries and dip also.
New York Style Burger (aka Mount Sea Burger) P345.00
This may sound pricey, but boy this burger is huge! It’s really an american burger and the patty may look like dry in the picture but it is really juicy.
My husband was satisfied with this one, he is a certified burger addict so believe me when I say that he really enjoyed it much.
Overall, our dining experience at Mount Sea Resort’s The Dining Room is something we won’t forget. I am a fan of restaurants who surprises me with not only good service, cozy venue but best of all provide best value for money. As a practical mom, I can say that the servings of their food plus the taste is fair enough. You won’t feel robbed after dining here.

On most days, I still prefer classic dishes. I’ll take a mental note of this place kung sakaling makadaan ng Cavite 🙂

Rarely do you find the actual food better than the photo! I’m very happy that that’s how it turned out. I’m also very glad to read your positive review of this resort. I love restaurants with fresh buko juice. I prefer getting one than any other beverages most restaurants have. I haven’t been to Cavite, but will consider this place once I’ll visit there.

Here I am, at almost 2 AM, reading about food that will make me hungry in my dreams. LOL! The food looks yummy! Though, I myself am allergic to shrimps and crabs..
