My First Hair Color Experience at Status Salon in City Mall Imus Cavite

It was 3 years ago when I first had my hair colored. That was done at the house, I used a korean brand – Etude House. The effect on my hair was not visible so I was not that satisfied with it.

Coloring your hair at home is less expensive but unfortunately the effect is sometimes not as good as when you go to the salon and let the experts do it on your hair. It’s been 3 years since the last time I had a hair color or a rebond.

Last Tuesday, I got an invite to vist Status Salon in City Mall Imus Cavite. It was my first time to step inside this mall, I only see it from the outside whenever we go to Tagaytay from Bacoor.

This is the first out of Metro Manila branch of Status Salon.

The Status Salon is just in front of Savemore Supermarket inside the mall. That’s why it’s easier for you to drop by here after a long day to relax and have a “me” time.

I went here to have my hair colored. I’ve been planning to have this service for a long time but I always feel I have some butterflies in my stomach every time I pass by salons. This time, I took a chance.

This is what my natural hair looks like. It’s wavy, dry and frizzy. I don’t care much because I always tie it.

as you can see, I have white hairs coming out already.

The first thing they did when I got there was to ask me some questions like, did I ever got a hair color, when was the last time, did I took a bath and had conditioner that day and what color do I like for my hair?

Then after the questions and answer portion, they started putting hair colorant on my hair.

I waited for an hour after that. This will make the color settle on my hair.

Then after that, they washed my hair, then blowdried it

Thanks to my senior hairstylist for giving my hair a new color. It’s not visible in this photo, but it has a shade of brown and a bit red.
