This Practical Mom will do the Switch
Based on my experience not all expensive items have good quality or all affordable items have poor quality. I can’t judge one item based on its name, I need to try it first. I’m meticulous that way.
A few days ago I attended an event in Shagrila Makati tagged as Watsons Switch Test. I am familiar with Watsons products especially my favorite hand soap.
For several years now Watsons has been running its Switch & Save campaign, showing its customers that if they switch from the leading brand to Watsons brand they can get excellent quality personal care products at up to 80% less. The effort has met with massive success, convincing tons of people from everyday shoppers to high-profile
endorsers (Iya Villania, Christian Bautista, Tessa Prieto Valdez, and Patty Laurel) to make the change. But with such unbelievably great savings, some skeptics remained unconvinced that Watsons products could be as good as the leading brand. To settle the question once and for all, the Watsons team decided to put it to the test- The Switch
Test.
I also participated in that challenge. IΒ tested a toothbrush, a body scrub and facial tissue.
I got the Watsons brand in choosing the toothbrush, but got the leading brand for the body scrub and tissue. But I don’t mind switching because there’s just little or unnoticeable difference at all. I want to save 50% or more of the price too.
So, on my next trip to buy our stocks of personal items I think I’ll SWITCH to some Watsons products to be able to SAVE MORE.
BTW, I was at the event with fellow beautiful mommy bloggers π
