Be A Part of the”Bags of Hope” Campaign
I know how important it is to have a proper education. I came from a poor family but my mom strived hard to help us finish our studies. With this, we were able to get a good job and receive opportunities that helped us with what we are now.
World Vision is one of the charity institutions that is close to my heart. I’ve been a part of their program to sponsor a child by donating a certain amount every month.
It is said that nearly one-third of Filipino children are deprived of health care, safe water, clean toilet facilities, decent shelter, nutritious food and education. And almost 4-million Filipino children are classified as out-of- school youth. Numerous reasons contributed to this prevalent problem like insufficient family income, child labor, teen marriage, illness, disability, inaccessibility to schools and high cost of education. Consequently, these factors inhibit the proper learning, development and value information of a child.
To help World Vision Kids with their education, Robinsons Supermarket, Unilever Philippines and World Vision unite together and launched the “Bags of Hope” campaign.
If you want to be part of this, all you need to do is to patronize the Bags of Hope pack. Just purchase either 470ml Lady’s Choice Mayonnaise or Ham or Bacon spreads. Purchase will automatically entitle one to receive a “collectible school bag” which comes in four designs while concurrently giving out school supplies as donations for World Vision Kids to support their education.
Imagine, may palaman ka na, may bag ka pa at higit sa lahat nakapag donate ka pa…
This is a nice campaign, isn’t it?
