Baskin-Robbins Double Celebration Event
The second level of Greenbelt 5 has been filled with sweet goodness yesterday afternoon. Baskin-Robbins had an awesome event in celebration of two significant milestones: their first year in the Philippines and 70 years since its birth in California in 1945.
I was happy to know that they have launched a charitable campaign. I pay high respect to companies that do not forget their social responsibilities. They have announced their partnership with renowned charitable foundation- Operations Smile in benefit of 31 children with cleft lip/palate. They called it BR 31.
BR 31 Smiles Project is a campaign intended to bring back the smiles of children with cleft lip/palate through free reconstructive surgery. The number 31 is a symbolic of the brand’s heritage as it is known for carrying 31 flavors of ice cream at any given time – one for every day of the month.
During the event they also introduced a delicious new product in their already awesome menu.
The Warm Cookie Ice Cream Sundae.
This new offerings will be able starting today October 1 in all Baskin-Robbins branches. To order, just choose any two premium Baskin-Robbins ice cream, then choose any cookies: white chunk macademia, dark chocolate chunk and double fudge cookies. It doesn’t end there, your ice cream can be topped with any of these things: hot fudge, praline caramel sauce, candy pieces, cookie pieces, whipped cream and cherries.
My family loves ice cream and my two boys are looking forward to have a taste of Baskin-Robbins ice cream soon. I am sure they’ll love it too.
They also have ice cream cakes displayed in their store. They look yummy too!
I just wish they will have a branch here in the South (Alabang area) soon.
