Things that happened on our Semestral vacation
The semestral break/vacation of Ren will almost come to an end. It is only a week long vacation so I made sure that we would spend the most of it (actually hindi pa nga masyado.. kulang pa).
My original plan was to have a staycation at Tagaytay but it did not pushed through, so here are the things we did for the whole week
Sunday October 26
My family spent the day at SMX and Mall of Asia for the Jollitown #TheBigFunEvent.
After that, we went to Toy Kingdom because I promised Ren that we will go there when he got high grades in his exams. He did not have a failing exam, so that’s enough for me to bring him there. But, I did not told him that we are going to buy a toy.
Kaso, si daddy naawa nung nagpa cute na ang bata, kaya yun napabili din kami ng wala sa oras.
Monday October 27
I woke up early this day because I wanted to have a walkathon going to the wet market. I miss doing this in the morning din kasi. I was sweating a lot and I was very hungry after LOL
In the afternoon, I asked Ren to go with me at EVIA. I used my voucher from Deal Grocer at Serenetea and ordered P600 pesos worth of foods and drink. I bought the voucher at 50% off I think.
We also did some grocery shopping at Rustan’s Supermarket.
Tuesday October 28
I woke up early today to clean the house. After that, I went again to EVIA to redeem my McDonald’s Diamond Pattern glass. The only glass I needed to complete the set that McDonald’s delivered to our house.
Then, I went to The List at BGC to have a hair makeover. I am late with the set schedule at 3PM so instead of having a hair rebond, I ended up choosing Keratin Blow Dry. I will talk more about it soon.
Two days before this scheduled hair makeover, ito ang #EksenaSaBahay
Me: Ren it’s sembreak!!! I will have a hair makeover finally
Ren: How about a face makeover mama?
#toinks …. nakakarami na ‘tong batang ‘to sa’kin
Wednesday October 29
This day was the day I will see Ms.Kris Aquino. She is the new franchisee of Chowking. The event was held at Whitespace in Makati (you can read more about the things that happened that day here- www.levyousa.com/chowking-welcomes-kris-aquino-newest-franchisee
Thursday October 30
Ren had his first ever trick or treat at his therapy center at Alabang. We decided to let him wear a simple Batman costume because I don’t want to bring bulky costumes kasi may fashion event kami na pupuntahan after 🙂
After trick or treating, we went to SM Southmall to attend the Forever21 VIP Opening (read more here- mommylevy.com/2014/10/southerners-forever21-is-now-here.html)
Friday October 31
Noel and I created a mutant costume for Ren because we joined some kids at SMX in Pasay for the Nickeledeon Mutant Mayhem Halloween Party. I will post more about this soon.
Saturday November 1
Today is our rest day. We decided to just stay at home. Noel cooked no bake stuffed bell peppers because we were missing his dad and mom. It taste good although not as good as my father-in-law’s stuffed bell peppers.
That’s it!!! That is what happened to our 1 week vacation. Ren will go back to school on Tuesday and I am sure that is the start of stressful days to come (for me).
How about you, did you and your kids had a sembreak? What were the things that you did to feel the vacation?

I miss being a student already! Taking a break from the accumulated stress school. Now that I’m part of the working society, there’s no such thing as rest. Lol. Awww I miss being a student already. Oooops, did I say that twice? Hahaha
PS: That halloween costume though. So cute!
