Domex’s One Million Clean Toilets Campaign
I joined this One Million Clean Toilets Campaign of Domex because I know how important having a clean toilet is. I have studied in a public school when I was in Preparatory and Primary Education and not having clean toilets was one of my problems back then. I didn’t like to go to the CR and I even tried hard not to pee because of that.
Every vacation when we go home to our province in Tarlac, when I was a kid there were just a few toilets along the highway. That was why some passengers chose to pee or do the number 2 on the fields (remember the tissue commercial before? that was really happening).
Over 90% of households are at risk of diseases from toilet germs that can lead to death. People don’t realize that germs are left behind with just ordinary cleaners.
Domex has initiated the 1 million clean toilets campaign to help raise awareness
for proper toilet sanitation and help save lives of millions of people.
Domex, came up with this video that I am asking you to watch. Each unique view translates into a pledge for the advocacy campaign which collects pledges from households to conscientiously maintain their own hygienic bathrooms. For every pledge received, Domex will donate P5 to UNICEF’s sanitation program, towards improving access to basic sanitation in deprived areas around the world, including the Philippines.
On the video, it shows how underprivileged Filipinos welcome the “arrival” of clean toilet facilities in their communities. “The video aims to make people realize the value of a toilet which most of us, unfortunately, take for granted,” said Dennis Chua, Domex Brand Manager.
