Southerners, Forever21 is now here!

I have read from a fashion magazine before that most people from the South prefer comfortable outfits when going out.  I don’t know what they mean back then, but I get it now when we transferred here.

I have observed that most of the mall goers are in jeans or shorts, t-shirts and flats or flip flops when going out.  You can barely see people wearing heels and layered outfit here.  Most of the girls just wear sunscreen and lipgloss too.

Why? Maybe because the malls are mostly situated near a residential area or maybe because, here in the South there are still more open spaces and we only have a few areas with shades from the sun. There are also a few taxis here and the parking areas are mostly located in open areas and not inside the malls.  If you will wear high heels or layered clothing then expect to sweat a lot.

But wearing comfortable outfit does not mean you can’t do it with stye. For me, comfort+style+quality+value for money should come hand in hand.

And I think that is what Forever21 would want to provide it’s customers.

Yesterday, Forever21 had a VIP Opening at SM Southmall.  I was privileged to be invited and be treated as one of the VIPs yesterday.

Just look at the crowd who were patiently waiting outside for the store to finally open.

I brought my son with me who gamely posed when I asked for his picture.

At first, he didn’t want to come with me inside because of the crowd and yes I understand him.

He is just like any other man out there who doesn’t want to accompany their girlfriends when shopping hahaha.

But when the door was opened, he was the first to go to the area that he thought I will check out first –  SHOES!!!

He took a red high heels and showed it to me.  He said “this one looks nice on you mama!“… oh boy, he knows how to make me smile.  Unfortunately, yesterday I was looking for a flat and comfortable shoes that I can wear everyday, so I ended up choosing this pair.

I was also eying to have a new pair of boots so I will surely go back and get one (I loved wearing boots during my college days).

After that, we went around and checked out some BAGS!!! I just bought a new bag from Mango but I wanted another one, and this one caught my attention.

Then, I went to the Men’s section to check some shirts for his dad, but unfortunately I did not find any designs that Noel would like.  Maybe I will just bring him here next time and ask him to choose what he wants.

I want to buy the little boy some pieces, but as of now they are not yet offering an area for little boys (ehem…. F21 you should offer this area soon)

For plus sized women, they also offer sizes for them now.

Lingeries too!!

The line to the fitting room was quite long yesterday, so I decided to get a pair of shirt that I thought would perfectly fit me even if I didn’t try it on.

I was glad that the line to the cashier was not yet long when I decided to check out. I have some GCs plus a P500 discount yesterday so I am one happy shopper.
