A Mother’s unending journey to wellness!
I mentioned in my post before that one of the disadvantages of working from home is that we are in charge of any expenses that maybe brought out by being sick. My husband and I don’t have the benefits of having free insurances from a company.
We need to work hard to get our own insurance and also do our best to be healthy and fit to avoid getting sick. What’s worse is that we don’t have a sick leave to use if we are hospitalized.
I’ve been educating myself on how to be healthy and even trying hard to be fit but after a while I stopped and went back to my old habit. I consider myself as one of the “Queen of all Excuses”
The other day, I received a wellness box full of products from PhilCare.
It consists of different items for different parts of the body:
- To jump start your day and pump up your body, they sent a Jumping Rope.
- A Moringa Detox Tea that you can drink to help cope with stress that you experience every day.
- Calamansi Soap and Oatmeal Soap to have a clear and smooth skin.
- Olive Oil Mist to have a moisturize skin throughout the day.
- Seaweed Mask for the face to give you a natural glow.
- PhilCare Love your Heart card that entitles the cardholder for an Electrocardiogram (ECG), Lipid Profile and (1) Internal Medicine Consultation.
I will be using these products soon, and I am excited to get back on the road after the weather changes from super hot to cloudy and rainy (did it sounded like I am saying another excuse here?)
A brochure is included in the box that gives information about PhilCare. I learned through it that when you sign up to be a member of PhilCare, you will become part of comprehensive and well-rounded health care initiatives and wellness programs.
They have this PhilCare 360 which is a wellness program that is designed to motivate people to take on an active lifestyle. What it does is apart from providing benefits; PhilCare will launch projects such as corporate and public workout sessions, healthy eating programs, and the likes.
PhilCare 360 offer post-hospitalization patient care, medical and health seminars, on-demand physical examinations, empowered health support groups, convenient on-site laboratory operations and exciting wellness merchant partners.
I actually checked their website and I found lots of interesting articles that will surely help someone to be healthy.
I would like to have a medical partner for me and my family that will let us enjoy a world-class health care, and I think PhilCare can provide what we need. I can’t wait to know their rates soon.
