Monde Summer Mamon-It-Yourself is a great family activity
It is summer once again!
During this time of the year, the Metro has lesser traffic because school buses are parked. You should also expect a higher electric bill at the house because electric fans, aircons and all the gadgets are running.
And I know parents are looking for creative ways to entertain their kids that are both fun and educational.
I am glad that my family were invited to try the Monde Summer Mamon-It-Yourself activity last month at Yardstick Makati.
I never thought that you can do a lot of things just by using the Monde Special Mamon.
Upon entering the venue, Ren saw a lot of Monde Special Mamon displayed all over the area. He was too excited that he keeps on asking me when we were going to start decorating.
The event was hosted by celebrity DJ Delamar with her super adorable son, Cooper.
Isn’t it obvious that I am taking the pictures of the little boy than her mom? Hahaha… well you all know Delamar naman kasi.
Chef Mitchie Sison was also at the event and she taught us how to make easy-to-do frosting plus a few tips on how to decorate the mamon using the icing bag.
Co-mommy blogger Grace of The Spoiled Mummy, also shared some of her creations using the Monde Special Mamon.
She made healthy recipes and easy designs that we can do on the Mamon.
Then the much awaited Monde Mamon-It-Yourself activity finally started.
They all gave us a decorating set that we can use in doing our creations.
My son immediately asked me to open one Mamon and then he started doing his masterpiece.
After a few minutes, here were the finished products and I called it “The Martinez’s creations” 🙂
We had fun doing all these things.
And my son enjoyed eating his work afterwards. The mamon as base is already yummy; with the toppings, yummier!
I am now considering this Mamon-It-Yourself decorating activity to be included in my son’s 7th Birthday since it has a double purpose: It will make the kids busy plus they can eat their works after. Tipid na, sulit pa!
Using Monde Mamon as a base will save you time and energy compared to baking the mamon yourself. You can use the saved time in spending more with your family.
I am glad that Monde gave us decorating tools to take home after the event. We were able to create more Monde mamon masterpieces at home.
When we arrived home, we couldn’t wait to create another MIY. It is really a family fun activity because this Super Mario creation was made by the 3 of us.
Ren was the one who sorted the color from the candy pellets, I did the cap and daddy was the one who made the face. Isn’t it adorable?
As much as possible, I am doing my best to give the best for my son. I usually search first and ask trusted people in choosing something for him. In choosing the right school for instance, I have visited almost 10 schools before I have chosen the one that I think fits him. That is the same thing in choosing what he eats, I make sure that I only give him something from a trusted brand.
That is why I prefer this Monde Special Mamon, because of it’s fresh and premium ingredients.
I learned that Monde Special Mamon is made with real fresh eggs, imported wheat flour, and milk. It is made to be delicious for kids and kids at heart for us to enjoy it more.
I highly suggest that you to try the Monde Mamon-It-Yourself decorating activity and do it with the entire family. I know your kids will enjoy it and at the same time it will not burn a hole in your wallet.
Create your own design and post it on Twitter or Instagram and include the hashtag #MamonItYourself and tag me @mommy_levy. I want to see your work too!

BTW, at the end of the program, a special video was shown to us. I was so touched I had to control my tears from falling on my cheeks.
Here is a copy of the video 🙂
