I am Mommy Levy and I am a Practical Mom.

A practical person for me is level-headed and sensible, it is someone who chooses to create than to buy, who chooses products that has good quality and have value for money.  It is also someone who does research first before going out and buying the thing that she needs and want.

Ever since I decided to stop going to work and not to be a part of the rat race anymore, my perspective of living has been changed.  My family is trying to live as simple as possible.  We only buy things when we need it and my husband and I are doing are best to create DIY stuff compared before where everything came from the supermarkets or department stores. Doing these simple things will help us save for the rainy days.

We are training our son to be one also. My son is satisfied just by looking at toys at the Toy stores. If ever we have some money to spare, we make sure that we will only buy toys that have a good quality so that it will last for a long time but he will need to work for it before he can get it. That is the reason why he is not very hard to please.

Being practical doesn’t means that we deprive ourselves from experiencing the good things in life.  Of course, there are times that we dine at our favorite expensive restaurant or spend some “me” time at the salon or buy something that we want, but we make sure that it is a reward for working hard.

Everyone needs a good massage or vacation every now and then.

Being Practical for me is someone who sends the dirty clothes to the laundry shop than doing it yourself because I choose to spend my time with my family or to do other things that will make me earn an additional income for my family.

This is the reason why you will find more DIY projects here or good quality products that I have personally liked and have tested.

I know that being a mom is hard, but when you set your priorities straight then for sure it would be a lot easier.
