Celebrate Grandparents day at Jollibee
This coming Sunday is the celebration of Grandparents day, do you have any plans where to bring your Lolos and Lolas?
My mom is the only Grandparent of my son that is still living . She was here at our house a while ago, and it’s a good thing that she dropped by because Jollibee delivered buckets of Chicken Joy.
She always try to visit us once a week to check out her makulit na apo and to make sure that all of us are doing okay. Yes, even though I have my own family she never fails to check up on me (well I think most parents and grandparents still do it, as Filipinos it is one of our traits).
She usually clean our rooms, change our mattresses, pillow covers, sheets and curtains. She loves to do it, and I am glad she is here to do those things. She is always there when we need her like when we need to leave my son for a date with hubby or when I need to do important things.
My own Granparents were gone when I was only at grade school and to be honest, sometimes I miss them. I have good memories with my Lolo on my father’s side. He was the one who first teached me good manners since I was with him together with my aunt when I was a preschooler. Both my parents were working here at Manila kasi.
My son on the other hand, didn’t had the chance to meet his Grandparents on his father’s side (my in-laws) because they died before he was born. I wish that they are still here to see his developments and progress, I know they will be proud of him.
Grandparents are worthy to be given a special day to honor them. If you still don’t have any plans where to go this weekend, then don’t stress yourself much. You can visit any Jollibee store near you and let them have a good time with their apos. I am sure the kids and the Lolos and Lolas will both enjoy the famous Chicken Joy.
Mula noong bata-bata pa sila hanggang ngayon may Jollibee Chicken joy na!
Here is a picture of my late in-laws enjoying their Jollibee Chickenjoy.

Ang tagal na pala ng Jollibee! =) Super present ang Jollibee sa Filipino celebrations no? We actually had time to celebrate it with our Tatang. Ang sarap din sa feeling.

Aww. Naguilty naman ako. 🙁 I wasn’t able to treat my grandparents on their special day. I was very busy and stressed sa birthday prep ng aking daughter that I forgot to bring my nanay and tatay to the nearest Jollibee. Bawi na lang ako next year. Or pwede din sa Xmas. 🙂

It’s really good to patronize our own product. I’m sorry mommy, but I just want to share my opinion. I don’t intend to convince other people. Nowadays, we don’t eat so much commercial chicken because our doctor said the hormones injected in them hasten secondary growth in girls.
Mommy Levy says
May I know where do you buy your organic chicken?

Reading this post made me miss my Grandfather, who used to spoil me rotten. I was the apple of his eye, and I’m proud to say I’m his favorite apo. Hehe. 🙂
