There is no such thing as Stay at home Mom

I have mentioned in my previous post that I am a Stay at Home mom, but now I realize that there is no such thing. Because even though I am at the house the whole day (except when I am sending my son’s at school) I am not sleeping, sitting, watching TV, playing games, or just eating the whole day… I am still working.

I prepare foods for my 2 boys, wash the dishes, clean the house, wash the clothes, tutor my son, massage my husband if he requested and I also earn through online sidelines that help my family pay some bills. Those are the things that I think why there is no such thing as a stay at home mom, because every mom staying at the house or going out the office are all working. So, I am now promoting myself to what you call work at home mom 🙂 haha

No, I am not ashamed of my previous designation, don’t get me wrong. What I am saying is that every mother who decided to be at home to take care for their family personally is still working, so they should be called work-at-home mom. Okay I am redundant here, I know you get my point. Of course it is just a label, no one cares whatever you call yourselves. I just feel I need to bring it out, because it’s on my mind for some time hahaha.
