We are not yet ready for school (sigh!)

Time flies so fast, and it’s June already.  I have found a very nice progressive school for Ren nearby (Thank God I found it!) and he is already enrolled (thank you blogging money).  He already have his school shoes, bags and other things that the school required.  Unfortunately, he doesn’t have his books and uniforms yet but I am hoping to get it by next week.

Yes, he almost got everything that he needs, but until now, I feel that we are not yet prepared in going back to school.  You see, we keep on practicing him to write his name, answer worksheets etc., but most of the time he keeps on whining even before we start.  It felt that writing is some kind of punishment or torture for him. 

I don’t think I am pushing him too hard kasi minsan di pa nga nag-uumpisa, nakikita pa lang papel naiyak na.  Hay nakakaloka ang batang ‘to!

I think he is just messing up with us and testing my patience.  And I am afraid that he will do that with his teachers at school.  I am just hoping that he will follow the teachers’ commands and behave well.

Hay ako ang kinakabahan…. Wish us luck and pray for us to survive this school year.
