Weekend Discoveries with Nescafe and other Nuffnang Bloggers
Last Saturday, I went out with other Nuffnang bloggers for an exciting adventure. I said exciting because I (we) didn’t know where we were going. All we knew was it is a whole day event starting 9am to 5pm.
Our weekend discoveries started at Mom and Tina’s Restaurant just across SM Hypermarket at Pasig. There, we had our sumptuous breakfast. I ate fried rice, scrambled egg, bacon and sausage. After that they served various fruits for dessert and mocha flavored coffee from Nescafe to give me the right amount of energy I needed throughout he day.
I shared the table with co-mommy bloggers Earth (of earthlingorgeous.com) with her daughter Tasha, Olga (of www.totteringmama.com) and Kaye (of ilovekeisha.com).
Here was our itinerary for the day
After breakfast, we headed up to a pottery studio at Antipolo. We went to Crescent Moon Cafe which is owned and operated by Ms. Lanelle Abueva-Fernando, daughter of national artists Napoleon Abueva. It was my first time to visit this place. I heard that they offer set meal for P350-P400 (depends on the day).
But we were not there to dine, we were there to learn how pots are made.
Ms. Lanelle told us that because of the high demand of personalized pots and plates of their clients, they now used molds.
Ms. Lanelle also conducts Pottery making classes to people (young and old) who wants to learn. So, if you are looking for summer activities for your kids then I suggest that you try pottery making. It is relaxing and therapeutic.
Here she demonstrated to us how pots are made manually.
We didn’t had the chance to buy some of their products because we need to stick to the schedule and go to the next place fast.
Our next destination was the Pinto Art Museum. This was also the first time I have visited this place. The place is a home of the antique collections of Dr. Joven Cuanang. There are also various kinds of paintings and one of a kind sculptures made by various artists.
Don’t judge the place from outside, because it has lots of things to offer inside. I was surprised how big it was. The place reminds me of a retreat house or a monastery. It is very peaceful and the view is amazing. Entrance fee is P100 (sulit na sulit sa makikita nyo sa loob)
I want to bring my husband who is also an artist here, I know he will love this place.
We had our lunch at Bizu (also inside the Musuem). Here we met the new endorser of Nescafe (Host, Writer and co-Blogger- Ms. Bianca Gonzales). Oh my! she is so slim and her skin is so Filipina. She told us that she is a certified coffee fanatic, and she loves every variant of Nescafe-in-a-can.
the Nescafe-in-a-can 3 variants are:
- Nescafe Latte
- Nescafe Mocha
- Nescafe Espresso
This Holy Week, I know some of you will have a well deserved vacation. It is fun to discover new things, I know that because I have experienced it. Nescafe-in-a-can is the perfect companion that you can bring anytime anywhere. It will help you stay more alert and active to discover new things along the way. It is quite affordable for only P29.00 for the Nescafe Latte and Mocha and P18.00 for the Espresso.
Try it and Enjoy every weekend discoveries 🙂
I went home with a coleman box and 2pcs of each variants of Nescafe-in-a-can. My husband loved it together with the kasoy I bought for him.

I see that you’re holding your P100 Hermes-like Bag *love it* Anyhoo, I loved your discoveries. I’ve been to Antipolo quite a few times now. But there are so many places that I’ve yet to explore. Truly, those art-inspired places that you wrote about are exceptional. 🙂

That looks like an interesting activity from that event. Maybe I can join one of those Nuffnang events in the future.
