Ren’s latest report from the Development Pediatrician
He was seen by his new DevPed Dr. Rita Villadolid last November and here is the latest progress report:
Locomotor Skills (such as running, jumping, hopping, galloping, skipping and leaping): at least 4 years old
Personal-Social Skills ( communicating and interacting with others effectively) : 3 -3 1/2 years old
Hearing and Speech Skills: 2 1/2- 3 years old
Eye and Hand Coordination: 5 years old
Performance: 5 years old
Practical Reasoning: 3 1/2 years old
He is currently home schooled independently by me however, the DevPed recommended to place him in a SpED Program to facilitate behavior management that will better prepare him for learning.
Our journey is just starting.Β We are celebrating every accomplishments that he does, we are proud of him.Β And, we know every trials and sacrifices are all worth it in the end.

maybe he’s dyslexic (my son is the opposite). But to give you the right advice, yes you should look for a DevPed near your area π

I don’t know what’s the difference of Developmental Doctor to a Special Education Doctor, as far as I know they’re the same. We haven’t visited a SPED doctor kasi. I suggest DevPed po muna if you’re so concern about her development. They will guide you what to do next.

I suggest to visit a DevPed as soon as possible to evaluate your child, or better pa check na din sa mga Occupational therapist baka speech delay lang yan.
