Jollitown Season 5 launched at Rockwell Tent

Jollitown, a children’s educational television program will be aired again for it’s 5th season at ABS-CBN this coming July 22, 2012.  I am sure that your kids missed the adventures of Jollibee and his friends: Yum the Scientist, Twirlie the Star Performer, Hetty the Cheerleader and Popo the Gym Coach in search of the cystals of values.

The 5th Season was launched at Rockwell tent last Saturday – July 14, 2012.  The PR (Stratwork) posted at the invitation that we can bring our children at the event, but since I have another event to attend to that afternoon, I decided not to bring my son with me. But I knew that he will enjoy the Jollibee event if he was there.  The Rockwell tent was turned into a magical and child friendly area.

Some members of the media brought their kids, and they all enjoyed a special screening of the newest season’s pilot episode. They also had a great time joining unique games that taught them different Filipino values, from bravery and to love for the environment. Kids really felt that they were in an island adventure through the event’s visually captivating interactive floor.

The event’s highlights took off from the plot of the new season. The villainous Virus Elvira has gotten hold of the precious Crystals of Values, putting the values in the universe in danger. It is up to Jollibee and his friends to search for the crystals and bring them back to safety before Elvira destroys them. Their quest brings them to the Philippines’ most beautiful provinces that embody the different values represented by each of the crystals.

Drumbeaters and coconut trees added to the island vibe of the festivity. Guests also feasted on Filipinos’ most beloved fare, including their langhap-sarap favorites from Jollibee. Capping off the day of adventure and merriment, the kids joined the talented crew of Jollibee, Popo, Hetty, Twirlie, and Yum in a special train dance.

This season, we’re proud to showcase the best of the Philippines—our rich culture, colorful history, and the values that make us a cut above the rest,” said Inna Gimenez, Jollibee Senior Brand Manager.
