My son’s first United Nations parade at school!
This year is my son’s first time to experience to be a part of the United Nations parade at school. The teachers did not assigned any particular country that the kids will represent on the parade. It’s a good news since Ren can wear what I think he will feel comfortable at and be happy.
The UN parade at his school will be held on October 21, and yet as early as now, I am already thinking of national costumes that will be best with Ren. Since they will walk outside the classroom, he needs a cloth that is light so that he will not sweat to death. He doesn’t like to wear any accessories so it should looks very simple.
With this in mind, I thought of getting him a flowery/summer costume and represent the country of FIJI
This kind of costume is cheap, because a flowery polo is all that he needs since he already has a white sando, a brown shorts, and flip flops. Maybe just like this one:

I am really excited in this event and I hope it will not rain that day since putting a jacket in a summer costume will look awkward 🙂
How about you, what will kids going to wear on their UN activity in their school?

A year passed by already. It’s UN again. Correct me if Im wrong, tapos na ata? hehehe well, Im really having hard time in searching for ideal costumes especially if the country is new to me. Good thing nowadays it’s made easier and more convenient because of online stores. 🙂
