Sunglasses that suit your face!
It’s getting hotter right? we need to protect our skin and hair from the harmful UV rays but we need to remember to protect our eyes as well. If you don’t have a pair of sunglasses yet or you have an existing one but you’re doubtful if you have chosen the right one and if it really fits in your face.Β Then you should check this guide to help you.
1. THE HEART– Girls with heart-shaped faces have a rounded face that narrows at the chin. Pick out eye wear that’s also rounded to minimize a wider forehead. Sunglasses that are a bit wider at the base are great choices too!
Actress:Anne Curtis and Rhian Ramos
Shades:Β Brown sunglasses, Calvin Klein.Yellow sunglasses, P13,890 Prada.
2. THE OBLONG– Oblong-shaped faces are longer and narrower than they are wide, so choosing sunglasses that are fancier around the temples are perfect for you. The design at the temple area adds width to your face, giving it a more balanced proportion.
Actress: Melissa Ricks
Shades: Aviators with cream leather trim, P9,490 Ray-Ban. Blue rimmed sunglasses, P8,890 Ray-Ban.
3. THE OVAL– Girls with an oval-shaped face are lucky! Most pairs suit this face shape as it is well proportioned, but do try to stay away from narrow or too round frames.
Actress: Heart Evangelista and Maja Salvador
Shades: Black sunglasses, P3,890 Esprit.White rimmed sunglasses, P7,790 Ray-Ban.
4. THE ROUND– These face shapes have full cheeks and a rounded face. Your target is to make your face appear longer, so get shades that are angular and geometric.
Actress: Angelica Panganiban and Kim Chu
Shades: Red rimmed sunglasses, P4,490 Elle. Black sunglasses, P17,790 Prada.
5. THE SQUARE– Square-shaped faces are more angular. It’s good to pick out sunglasses that are more round and less geometric to soften your features.

It is indeed important to choose the right sunglasses frames as each set has unique features that may make or break your looks. When choosing the colors of frames, also take your skin tone and hair color into consideration. Online stores such as BestBuyEyeglasses.com – a discount site for designer sunglasses and eyeglasses, have a Virtual Try-on Mirror to help you see which frames fit your image.
