Ruffa Gutierrez walked out at The Buzz!

It’s been a while since I posted about showbiz happenings here.  Well, here is a come back, did you know that Ruffa walked out from The Buzz last Sunday? I failed to watch it so I have to research what happened.  Here are some of the things I’ve got.

To my international followers and readers, Ruffa Gutierrez is a Filipina actress and the 2nd Princess at Miss World 1993 (click here to know her more).  Based on PEP‘s report, the reason why Ruffa walked out was when Kris Aquino teased her. (don’t know Kris? click here)

This conversation is the reason why Ruffa walk-out, Kris said “Ruffa, admit it, the level of happiness is different here”. Kris is referring to Ruffa’s transfer to a rival station, TV5. Ruffa will leave ABS-CBN and The Buzz 2 weeks from now.  After Kris said that Ruffa replied “Well, I know, you don’t have to rub it in, Kris. Of course, I’m sad too, so don’t add anything anymore.”

When I was watching The Buzz (that happens once in a while).  I already noticed that Kris always tease Ruffa and even Boy Abunda, but that is not new if  you know Kris’ personality.  She always does it to her co-hosts, I noticed her teasing Korina Sanchez on their morning show before and even Kim Atienza when they were looking for sponsors and donations for the Ondoy Victims last year.

This issue will not be that controversial if Ruffas’s mother-Annabele Rama did not give her comment.  I know it’s normal for a mother to defend her daughter and I’ll do that too but Annabele even included Noynoy Aquino, Kris’ brother who is one of the Presidential aspirants.  Noynoy doesn’t know anything about it and he is not even included in the show, so why did Annabele included him?  This thing should be between Ruffa and Kris and I think both parties are old enough to handle it.

I’ve read various opinions regarding this matter.  Well here’s mine:

To Kris: sometimes it’s better to be quiet, maybe Ruffa is sensitive at the moment because she is leaving the show she’s been on for 3 years.  We cannot blame her though for leaving because maybe the other network offered her a bigger talent fee.  She’s a working mom with 2 lovely kids and of course she will do anything and have to sacrifice other things for her children.  You have a complete family and Ruffa doesn’t so please try to understand her.

To Ruffa: You must be happy with your decision to leave the network because if not, how can you do your job well in your new home if you are unhappy with it.  Also, you’ve known how talkative and tackless Kris can be at times and you have been together for 3 years so don’t be that sensitive if she make remarks like that to you.   Just think that she does it to everybody and not just to you.

To Annabele:  according to 1 Thessalonians 4:11 make it your goal to live quietly, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we instructed you.
