A sneak peek to Anytime Fitness in Evia Lifestyle Daang Hari
I’ve been thinking to lose weight for a decade now hahaha, I started it when I joined a bloggers Biggest Loser contest sponsored by Clium year 2012. I learned a lot from that challenge but the lazy me did not continue what I learned from that and got back to my usual lifestyle. I joined fun runs, group exercises etc. but still the old lifestyle is so hard to resist because it’s the easiest thing to do (sitting in the couch, eating chips and just relaxing).
Losing weight is really hard if you don’t have the discipline and if you are not 100% motivated to do it. I can’t do it in one sitting, so I decided to do it gradually. I first changed our food choices, we are now eating brown or red rice at home. I also stock on salads and probiotic drinks. When outside, unless we don’t have the budget, we opt to dine at restaurants with healthier food options.
I go out almost everyday with my son, so my exercise usually consist of walking (in a hot weather). I sweat a lot, pero nakukulangan ako. Walking also do not make my tummy (my main concern) smaller.
I know there are a lot of exercises to do at home to help me achieve a toner body, but I want to try hitting the gym to evaluate if it’s for me.
I am glad that ANYTIME FITNESS, is offering a 3 days FREE Trial. I immediately signed up for one. Anytime Fitness is the only gym I know that offers 24 hours service. Plus you can use your membership in any of their branches nationwide. These advantages are just a few of the reasons why people opt to go here.
On my first day, the person in charge toured me around the area.
I like that the place is clean and well maintained.
They have a shower area, and you can get free water as long as you have your own bottle. They also have lockers to store your stuff while your doing your routine exercise.
I joined a dance group session on my 1st day. They started on time and ended on time too.
On the 2nd day, I went early and tried the elliptical machine and treadmill. The first time I tried the treadmill, it was for a stress test of my heart. I like the elliptical machine but the treadmill made me feel dizzy after. When I stepped down the machine, I felt I was gonna fall because I can fill the floor still moving. I decided to stand against a wall and relax for a bit.
I was not able to go there on my 3rd day because I attended some events.
Anytime Fitness’ membership fee is P3,500 but sometimes they have a promo and you can get this lifetime membership for only P2,500. The monthly rate is P2,500 but again, they sometimes have a promo and you can get a discounted amount if you will enroll for a longer period of time. Let’s say for a year, they said that they can give it for only P2,200 per month.
BTW, they also have this “freeze your monthly account” thing, wherein if you will not be able to go to the gym for a week or more, they will freeze your account para hindi ka malugi sa monthly payment mo.
So did I enroll? The practical me thought that with that amount I could just buy bikes (for me and Ren) so that both of us can exercise and just tour around the village every afternoon.
Some people like to go to gym to be with other people who have the same goal. Gyms also have equipment that you can use to target specific parts of your body.
If you have the resources, going to a nice gym like Anytime Fitness might be for you.
