My Laser Teeth Whitening Experience at Affinity Dental Clinic in Makati

How do you smile in front of the camera? is it closed lips or just like me who always shows my teeth? Feeling ko mas bagay sa’kin pag nakalabas ipin ko (what do you think?)

I’m confident with the set of teeth that I have, I don’t mind showing them off. But whenever I see celebrities having pearly white teeth, I envy them.  I want the same color as theirs.

Usually maputi lang ang ipin sa camera (because of the phone’s filter but in real life hindi). You can put make up on your face to hide blemishes, but with your teeth, you really need to visit a dentist regularly to help you with your flaws and make it more beautiful.

So a few days ago, I went to the newly opened Affinity Dental Clinic in Makati to have a laser teeth whitening procedure.

I arrived early at the place; it’s just a single ride via van from our place here in Cavite.  I was ushered to their luxurious receiving area.  To give you a little background, my first session with a dentist did not go well. But because oral prophylaxis was one of the requirements for clearing of clearance from my school I got used in visiting one. I’m glad that the next visits did go well.

The traumatic experience is what I don’t want my son to experience also that’s why I made sure that his first visit to a dentist will run smoothly from the reception area until the entire procedure.  I don’t mind paying extra if the place provides comfort, is clean, treat you well, has top notch equipment and of course good doctors.

With Affinity Dental Clinic, sa reception area pa lang bongga na. You will feel like having a VIP treatment upon entering the place.  It is cozy, clean and you won’t feel that it’s a dental clinic at all.

Before my laser teeth whitening procedure, I had my teeth cleaned first. The dentist and her assistant took good care of me. They always ask if I’m okay while they’re doing their job insuring that my comfort is on top of their priority.

After my oral prophylaxis, we immediately proceed to my laser teeth whitening.

 

It was a 3 hour procedure… yes 3 hours with a mouthpiece and a laser pointed a your mouth. If you think it sounds uncomfortable, well yes it is but I’m thankful that they put a pillow on my head while lying down. Somehow it made me feel at ease and snoozed for a while.

But of course, if you will not change your lifestyle the color wouldn’t last. My beautiful dentist gave me a list of food to avoid to make the procedure last long.

Ohhh before I forgot, if you are planning to avail of this procedure make sure to eat first so that your tummy will not bother you while waiting for it to finish.

Overall, I had an awesome experience with Affinity Dental.  I achieved a clean, white teeth immediately that will help me boosted my confidence level to smile more.

I will bring Ren here for his oral prophylaxis soon. The pediatric area is not yet done while I was there but I’m hoping that it’s finished now as I’m writing this review.
