Make your summer sun-proof with Watsons!
Do you know that we should put sunscreen even though it’s cloudy and rainy or even if we are just inside the house? Putting sunscreen will protect our skin against skin cancer and premature aging.
Here’s 5 Tips on how to put it properly so that it will be effective:
- Choose a sunscreen that has an SPF of 30 or higher. It should be water resistant and provides broad-spectrum coverage. This will protects you from UVA and UVB rays.
- Lay it on thick. Use a tablespoon of sunscreen on your face, and about two ounces for your body.
- Put sunscreen on first, then your moisturizer
- Apply sunscreen at least 20 minutes before you go into the sun.
- Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours. If you are sweating a lot or swimming, re-apply more often.
Last Thursday, yours truly attended an event of Watsons at SM MOA.

Sunscreen is life! especially during the summer! These are just what i need as I am planning to visit the beach/pool to enjoy the sun. Too bad though that the promo does not cover cdo.
Good to know about Watsons and SMAC promo. I usually buy Dermplus or Nivea sunscreen at Watsons plus my son and hubby’s hair gel hehehe. It’s easier to shop for these stuff sa Watsons compared to the department stores or groceries.
Wow! Thanks for reminding me to use my suncreen/sunblock! Minsan kasi akala ko okay na na wala o okay na kasi d naman mainit o kaya tinatamad na talaga ako. Need lang pala ng reminders of what will happen na masama if I continue to just let my sunblocks expire without using them.
Such a good advice Mommy Levy! I never leave the house without sunscreen, even if I don’t really go under direct sunlight, times have changed and although sun exposure from 7am-9am is good for you, noon time sun exposure is just so damaging!

Anyway, I lovvve shopping at Watsons. I just use my points using my SM Advantage Card when I shop there and it’s really hassle-free (lalo na pag waley datung,haha).
