My Kerabond Treatment Experience
Time really flies so fast, it was like just yesterday when Ren had his sembreak, then just today it’s back to school already. Nakakabitin ang bakasyon!
What happened to the one week sembreak? Let me reminisce, hmmmm we went to SM Megamall for the trick or treat event last Monday, we stayed at the house last Tuesday, I went to the Salon for my hair Kerabond last Wednesday, went to mommies and kids get together last Thursday, stayed at the house last Friday, went to Eastwood mall for the Robinsons Supermarket Get Wellness Event last Saturday and went to South Cemetery to visit my in-laws grave plus we watched Trolls last Sunday. Β That’s it!
Napakabilis!
Anyway, this post is about my Kerabond Treatment Experience at Status Salon in City Mall.
It’s been 3 years already since I had my hair rebonded. The reason why it took me so long to do it again is because hair rebonding is damaging to the hair. It makes my hair fall more than normal and it becomes dry.
This is what my natural hair looks like.Β It’s wavy and thick. It’s hard to manage so I usually just tie it.
BUT, why did I decided to do it again this time? First, because it’s sembreak and I know that hair rebonding takes a lot of time to do (on my part it took me 7 hours), walang pasok kaya keri lang magtagal sa salon. Thanks to my husband for agreeing to this insanity/vanity. Second, after you had a hair rebond you need to wait for 3 days before you wash your hair. Sembreak is the perfect time to stay at home at magkulong while you’re waiting for the time you can finally wash your perfect straight hair. ThirdΒ reason was that I have some GCs to use for this service π
I also want to have a manageable hair (yung tipong maliligo ka lang, then maayos na buhok mo kahit di ka magsuklay)
I’m still fixing my video so that you can see the procedure of this 7 hours treatment, but for now this is what my hair looks like.
What’s the difference of regular hair rebond to Kerabond? Kerabond is like Brazilian blowout (only the name is different but they use the same procedure according to the therapist who treated my hair).
After the regular hair rebonding procedure, they will put Keratin cream to lessen the damage and to help it become smoother and shinier.
I already washed my hair last Saturday and I’m loving it. It is smooth and manageable. Achieve ang gusto kong Β mangyari, I just hope it will last for 6 months or more.
I am using Pantene 3 Minutes Miracle Conditioner by the way to lessen dryness.
How about you have you tried Kerabond or Brazilian Blowout?Β Are you happy with the result?
UPDATE:
Please watch my video to see the entire procedure

Hi! I would like to ask if how long does the treatment last? Is it the same po as rebond like 1 year depending sa bilis humaba ng hair? Also, how much po yung binayad niyo that time π
Mommy Levy says
6-1 year perhaps. This is rebond + keratin or brazilian blowout. Price depends sa salon kung saan mo sya ipapagawa.
Anna says
Hello ask ko lang po how about po ung bleach hair po pwede po ba sya sa kerabond thanks
Mommy Levy says
I don’t know po. You can contact them and inquire.
Diane says
Hi. Bakit sabi po sakin after a day pwede na basain yung hair ko? Diba po usually after 3days pa? Or depende po yun sa hair? Nagtaka lang kasi ako huhu
Mommy Levy says
Keratin treatment lang yan ginawa sayo siguro, iba pa ang Kerabond
Angela says
hi! hows your hair now
Mommy Levy says
this article was posted 2 years ago, my hair is now back to normal (wavy) again. But I would like to have this treatment again soon.
Pink says
Hello there. Where did you have your hair done? Thanks
Mommy Levy says
it was indicated in the post, kindly read. Thank yoU!
Nica Lopez says
Why is it different from mine? It is KERABOND with cello. What they did first is wash my hair then put the product for hair cellophane then after 30 minutes rinse then next the keratin product, after 15 mins they blow dry and iron. Something’s wrong
Hazel says
Same but there’s no cello… I don’t know if it’s really a kerabond. I keep asking if this is permanent and they said yes! Omg…. is this really a 1-2 hours treatment?
Jimini says
Hi There how much time it took for the kerabond? tama po ba 7 hours? somebody offered me kerabond and says it will take only 2 hours, kais sabi ko ayoko nagpaparebond kasi nacoconsume buong araw ko….
Mommy Levy says
usually 4-5 hours, nagkataon lang madami kami that time kaya medyo tumagal. Baka Keratin treatment lang ang 2hours.
Klea says
Magwowork ba parin ang kerabond sa mga buhok na hindi nakarebond?
Mommy Levy says
yes
Klea says
Magwowork ba siya kung deretso kerabond? (I mean natural hair yung wala pang rebond)
Mommy Levy says
yes
pril says
may question lng.. na rebond buhok ko last September 2017, tumubo n ung natural kong buhok n medjo frizzy, kng mag kkerabond po ba ko ma-sstraight din kaya ung frizz? tnx po kng massagot nyo
Mommy Levy says

lulu says
Is it safe for teens?
Mommy Levy says
I don’t suggest this for teens… it’s your call
mackie says

Mommy Levy says
I can’t remember the exact amount but I think the price ranges from 2,000 to 3,000
euna says
hi, I got my hair rebonded for about 6months. okay pa naman siya medyo nagkakaron lang ng konting wavy dahil sa mga panibagong tubo na buhok. Pero gusto ko sanang matanggal yung dryness and to have smoother and silkier hair.. I just want to know kung carry na ba na mag undergo ako ng kerabond treatment for my hair? hindi ba masisira yung buhok ko? thank you π
Mommy Levy says
I think pwede na kasi 6months na
Joanne says
hi,
just want to ask how long a kerabond last? I had my hair rebonded.several times but.it damages the hair and noticed lot of hairfall so thinking of switching to kerabond or brazillian blowout. only rebond can last for a year, so was wondering if kerabond would last the same?
thanks!
Mommy Levy says
