The Bellevue Manila Bellevue Kids Club Launching
A few weeks ago, I received an invite to attend the launching of Bellevue Kids Club at Bellevue Manila in Alabang. My son is not feeling well that day so I decided not to go.
My family and I love to have a staycation in hotels to try their beds and pools, but it’s a shame that I’ve never tried staying in any hotels here in Alabang (which is the nearest place in our area). Maybe soon.
Anyway, let’s go back to The Bellevue Kids Club.
They said that this is an initiative launched to fulfill the company’s commitment to uphold the Filipino family and to celebrate what it symbolizes. Quite fittingly, the theme of the launch was “Kids Local” to also recognize Philippine Independence with the families who came to the event. ‘Kids Local’ featured fun entertainment for the families that puts a spotlight on Filipino art and history.
Indak Lahi, a folk dance troupe from Muntinlupa, showcased the uniqueness of Filipino culture by performing iconic dances from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao such as Tinikling, Singkil and the Ifugao Wedding Dance. These folk dances served to remind the audience that no matter where technology takes us, we should always be aware of our cultural identity as Filipinos.
Museo Pambata also graced the stage and performed a shadow play called “First Around the Globe” explaining that as we learn more about our roots and our history, we are discovering that a Filipino may very well be the first person to travel around the globe.
The Bellevue Kids Club is an exclusive membership program of The Bellevue Hotels and Resorts with perks focused on the Filipino family. This is open for kids 12 years old and below, sign up below to receive Bellevue Kid’s Club updates! Sign up here
