DreamPlay in City of Dreams Turns One

Wow! Time really flies so fast. I was surprised to know that Dreamplay at City of Dreams have turned one already. I have a ticket waiting to be used but as of now we haven’t scheduled yet a trip to go there. Whenever we pass by this area my son always begs to go down and visit it.. soon anak sooon!

Anyway, I received an invite the other day to be a part of Dreamplay’s Anniversary celebration. I thought that there will be a lot of kids that day so I decided to go there all by myself (don’t worry boys we will go back and play there soooon)

Here are some of the things happened during Dreamplay Anniversary and things to look forward to:

Celebrity guest Tessa Prieto-Valdes and her daughter Athena cut the DreamPlay cake and were joined by City of Dreams Manila Property President Geoff Andres and Family Entertainment Center Head Tourino Dilaga

King Julien’s Dance Off Competition – June 4 to 30, 2016

The competition is open to all dance groups composed of kids ages 7 to 14, all boys, all girls or mixed. The groups are asked to create a dance performance video to be uploaded at cityofdreams.com.ph/dreamplaydanceoff from June 4 to 30, 2016. Only 12 groups will be chosen for the semifinal round and 6 will be left to compete live for the top spot at the Grand Finals on July 16, 2016. The final event will be held at the Grand Ballroom, City of Dreams Manila with celebrity guests and performances. Up to Php100,000 worth of prizes will be given away.

At Cooking with Gingy’s new cooking show, learn how to create unique balloon-shaped gingerbread cookies together with Shrek and Donkey.

Whatever Floats Your Boat Competition – Every weekend from June 11 to July 17 | 11 AM, 3 PM & 7 PM

Let the kids engage in some healthy competition with a splashing race down the river using their very own seafaring vessels.

4D Dream Theater – Every day from June 11 to July 17

Kids can sit back and relax while watching Megamind: The Button of Doom. Catch DreamPlay’s newest 4D movie experience at DreamTheater.

Dream Studio – Every day from June 11 to July 17

If they don’t feel like watching the film, then take the kids to create one instead at Dream Studio with the new Penguin of Madagascar module.

Anniversary Flash Mob– Every weekend from June 11 to July 17, 2016 | 1 PM, 3:30 PM & 5:30 PM

Who doesn’t like a good pop-up show, especially when there are popular DreamWorks characters joining the performers? This is what dreams are made of!

Arts and Crafts Workshop – Every weekend from June 11 to July 17, 2016 12 PM & 5 PM

A consummate favorite among kids, this workshop will help them tap into their creative side.

DreamWorks Mascot Photo Op – Every day from June 11 to July 17, 2016 | 11 PM, 2:30 PM, 4:30 PM & 6:30 PM

Have the opportunity for the kids to have a printed photo with Shrek, Fiona, Alex, Po, and King Julien between 11PM and 7PM. Don’t forget to squeeze in, okay?

Dojo Tai-Chi opening routine – every weekend from June 11 to July 17 | 12:30 PM & 4:30 PM

The afternoon of June 11 is packed with various, fun Flow activities. Take your pick and make wonderful memories with the kids.

Father’s Day at DreamPlay

DreamPlay also offers Dads a 30% discount on admission rates on June 19 and a special “All Day Pass Bundle” for an extraordinary bonding experience with the family. The Father’s Day package entitles adults and children with a free “Toothless” dragon mug and cap per bundle.
