A Day with my In-Laws Look Like This
Having a responsible and loving husband is just one of the things I am thankful for. The other thing is having in-laws that care and accept you no matter what.
I remember my mom always remind me before that besides looking for a good husband I should also consider their family kasi kailangan kong makisama sa kanila.
My father and mother in law are the best people I’ve ever known. The first time I’ve met them, nininerbyos ako pero they made me feel at home kaagad. Feeling ko love na love nila ako hahaha.
Sadly, my memories of them is for just 5 years. They did not even see my adorable son unfortunately. But those memories were all good and I can’t thank them enough for it. I can’t relate to other people who tells me that their in-laws are monsters that has been sent from hell to make their lives miserable.
My brother and sister in-laws are great people too. I commend their parents for bringing up these people. We are now far from each other, but when time and budget permits, my sister-in-law initiates for a get together that always happen on my brother-in-law’s house. It’s just a simple gathering with a lot of food on the table.
These are some of our pictures in our last get together.
Here are some of the dishes we had that day.
Not in the pictures were the Wingstop chickens I bought for the kids, naubos na agad e hahaha.
I wish we could do this more often. We want our kids to beΒ close and support each other when they get older too.
How about you, do you have some family get together moments that you would like to share? Write in the comments below.
