New Schedule

I think some of you already started going back to school.  Ours will be on June 15, my son is excited but if you’re gonna ask me, I’ll say no! hahaha

This year, Ren’s vacation is not that busy compared last year.  This summer the only remarkable things we did was the 3 days vacation at Palawan and when he joined the Jollibee Talent Camp.  The days in between was filled with watching TV, playing tablet, building his blocks or playing with his toys.  If I felt guilty that he is not doing anything productive, I make him practice writing, answer some Math questions, draw and that’s it. Nothing extra ordinary.

Before the summer starts, I already listed A LOT of activities that I have planned to do with him, but with this terrible hot weather I decided to not do it and just stayed inside the house. We just go out if I want to go to blogging events or I’ll bring him to his therapist.

This school year, Ren’s schedule at school is in the afternoon. As much as we want to stay in the morning schedule, we can’t because as of now there is only 1 section of Grade 2 in their school.  I don’t like an afternoon schedule because it’s too hot. At hindi na din ako masyado makaka gala sa hapon.  I am the one in charge to bring and fetch him at school kasi.

I don’t really like Ren’s afternoon schedule, but on the other hand my husband’s work schedule is better now.

I’ve been praying for this new schedule for as long as I can remember.  To give you a little background, since I left the corporate world, my husband is doing everything to provide for our needs.  When we were still living at Paco, Manila, he is doing 2 jobs. He went to the office in the morning and did online jobs in the evening. He only slept for at least 5 hours everyday.  I know his health was at risk because of this.

When he decided to leave the office and be a full time work at home dad, his sleeping time is still like that, because he is doing more jobs. He is awake in the evening and sleeps in the morning.  We don’t sleep together because of that.

That is why, I’m so happy when he landed on this new job.  He can now relax more and sleep in the evening and share the bed with me and Ren and do his job in the morning just like normal office hours.
