I saved 3,000 pesos on my latest National Bookstore Haul
National Bookstore is one of the happy places that our family loves to go to. I love to read self improvement books, my husband likes arts/designs, crafts and home and living books while my son loves puzzles, comics and activity books.
In this digital time, most people are now using kindle or any tablet to read books. My husband prefers it that way because according to him it saves space in the house because you can store a whole volume in your hard disk and you don’t need to spend time to take care of it as it will not be crumpled.
He has a point, but, I on the other hand still prefer to hold, smell and touch a real book. I tried to read a book in my tablet but I ended up browsing my Facebook or checking the net until I was not able to finish the book I was reading. My son on the other hand, doesn’t mind if the book is digital or real. But since we are trying to limit his use of gadgets, I prefer the old school kind of books to give to him.
A few weeks ago, we bought a lot of books on sale. Look at what we’ve got:
Ren really loves the I’m Ready for my Movie Contract. He reads it from the time he wakes up, from the time he arrives from school and after he had finished with his assignments. He also likes the Wreck it Ralph book even though he has watched the movie several times already.
My husband and I loves the TV series Vikings in History Channel, that’s the reason why I grabbed this piece upon seeing it. The Marvel Avengers book is for my husband. It is hardbound and it is a nice book to be added to his collection. The Hobbit book is also a great deal. I am glad I saw all these books.
We’ve bought all these books for only P275.00 and we have SAVED a total of P3,113.00
AMAZING!!!!
How about you, what do you prefer, a real book or a digital book?
