Let kids be kids with arts and crafts activities
Ren is not into arts and crafts. He doesn’t like coloring or making crafts unless I ask him to, or if it is required in school or by his therapist. I can’t make him do crafts on his own. He is more of a left brainer I think.
But when he saw the Sige Sabado play time box he excitedly opened it to check what’s inside. He immediately read the booklet of instructions that was included inside the box.
He wanted to do the slime first, but I wanted to do the Dye T-shirt. Unfortunately, neither of us did what we wanted to do because we were both busy with school activities and therapy schedule, we only have Sunday as our free day and we would rather spend it more in the bed cuddling and having some family date.
Classes today were suspended because of Typhoon Glenda, so I decided to take this rare opportunity to open the Sige Sabado box again and create some arts and crafts.
We decided to do a Madagascar Mask.
Tomorrow, there is still no classes here in Cavite and I think we will do another exciting activity. I really want to create this Tie Dye T-shirt Bag soon.

My son likes to draw, cut and paste but he doesn’t wants to color. he said it’s tiring to color. 🙂 but he gets to used to it whenever they have an activity like that in their school and he improved actually.
