Short Summer Getaway at Aquaria Beach Resort at Playa Calatagan Batangas
After our almost 6 hours of travelling from Alabang, we finally arrived at Aquaria Beach Resort.
I was expecting that it would be a huge place since that is what it looks like from the pictures I saw online, but actually, it was not. The condominiums are not even built yet.
THE BEACH AREA
Since we arrived around 12PM, there were already a lot of people in the pool, and even more so at the beach area. The management does not allow people to eat at the Cabanas besides the pool, that is the reason why I think everybody is on the beach because that is the only place they are allowed to dine.
If you have a big family, you need to rent a table and chairs (I don’t know how much is the rental fee though)
After eating some of our baon, Ren excitedly played on the sand.
here he is on his swimming attire getting cozy under the tree
I am not a fan of seawater because I don’t like that it is salty but my nanay loves it. That is the reason why I asked her to come with us. It’s been a long time that she had a trip to the beach.
I brought her a swimming attire (Arena Rashguard) because I know that the resort has swimwear attire rules.
The beach water is clear, and that is a plus point. There were a lot of dry leaves on the sand, but it’s no big deal.
I enjoyed taking pictures of Ren and Noel 🙂
and this is me and Ren hanging around. I am wearing a Speedo Rashguard.
There is a Bathroom at the beach but it is small. There are some people who are using tents, I don’t know if they own it or the resort provided it. Sarap sanang mag-overnight stay if the resort is okay with the tent.
THE POOL AREA
The cabana is too big for the 4 of us. I think it can fit up to 10-12 people. I like that it has it’s own gate and a cabinet where you can put valuable items when you leave the cabana.
Ren enjoyed the children’s pool.
There is also a 3 storey giant pool slide, but we did not try it since the line going up was quite long.
We stayed at the resort until 3PM only. We were adviced kasi that the last trip of the bus is around 4PM, and thus we needed to arrive at the bus terminal before 4PM. It was a short stay at Aquaria but I think our 3 hours stay is just enough.
I am glad that even though the place is quite crowded, my Nanay fell asleep for an hour. Maybe she was just so tired and just didn’t mind the noise around her.
I love their Shower area by the way, the shower room is big enough for one people. It was clean too!
TIPS and SUGGESTIONS:
- If you have plans to visit the place, I suggest that you bring a car to avoid the long travel time from commuting. Also if you want to have the place all by yourself, I suggest that you visit them on weekdays.
- You can bring your own food inside, Aquaria doesn’t charge corsage.
- Proper swimming attire when using the pool is strictly observed, so make sure you bring one.

Hi,
I just wanna ask kung yung parking lot nila is sa labas ng resort area?
We are bringing food but may corkage fee na kasi na 100 per head, so we are planning na kung kakain kami, dun na lang sa sasakyan. Sayang kasi ung 100 per head, marami pa naman kaming pupunta and pang-gas din sana yun 😀
Mommy Levy says
yes malapit lang ang parking area. You can eat there.
Z says
how much po ung buffet lunch per pax?
Mommy Levy says
Hi Z, I have no idea since we did not order food there.
Sophia says
Yung sa slide po gaano kahaba ung pila? Saturday pa naman po kami pupunta
Mommy Levy says
mga 5 people asa baba then 2 persons asa taas… for me medyo mahaba na yun:)

Hi 🙂 Just wanna ask if sulit ba yung pagpunta nyo sa Aquaria? My family is planning a day trip on Good Friday. Parang ang layo nya. Worth it ba yung byahe? Thanks!
Mommy Levy says
It was supposed to be a 2-3 hours trip from Coastal Mall, but naligaw kasi kami kaya naging 6 hours 🙂
I think it is worth it if you arrive at the place early. Do not rent a cabana na lang if you want to save Php 1,000 kasi you are not allowed to eat there. Just rent a chairs and table at the beach area para isa lang i-rent nyo.
