Our Subic Tree Top Adventure!
Last Tuesday, my family and I had our first ever Subic Trip. We arrived at Subic around 10:30 in the morning, that’s after a 2 and a half travel time from Manila.
I am glad that my husband agreed to come with me because he is not really a morning person and he doesn’t like traveling far distances because of motion sickness. He just love me so much that he can’t say “no” to my request hahaha.
I am glad that there is the NLEX and SCTEX available which makes our travel smooth and fast. After the last toll gate going to Subic, this welcomed us.
We went directly to the Tree Top adventure, and there, we were briefed and welcomed by a friendly staff who introduced all the things we can expect with the place.
At the Subic Tree Top Adventure, they offer 5 kinds of ride: Superman Ride, Silver Surfer, Canopy Ride, Tree Drop Adventure and Interactive Free Fall Adventure
Here are the rides that the other co-bloggers and I have tried.
Superman Ride– This ride is recommended to those who wants some adrenaline boost. You will be transferred from one tree to another while securely suspended facedown and feet up approximately 100 feet above the ground. Some bloggers and their companions have tried it, but unfortunately, hubby and I doesn’t have anyone to leave Ren with and he prefers to do it with me by his side.

Silver Surfer– Co-blogger Badet and I tried this one.
At the briefing section, they told us that the platform will just glide from one tree to another starting from 10ft to 80ft high. I thought that it was “easy peasy – tagalog: sisiw lang“, so I didn’t hesitate to try it. Well, I was right at first, but after the 2nd round, I felt that the platform was wiggling so hard that Badet and I can’t help but shout.
My son, after seeing us also wanted to try it. He kept on whining because we didn’t allow him to do so. That’s why I decided to just make him feel that he was on it while it was still vacant. He enjoyed it naman 🙂

Treetop Adventure or Canopy Ride– This was the ride that our whole family decided to try. We were transferred from one OLD and HUGE tree to another (approximately 100 feet above the ground). We have crossed 4 suspension bridges using a motorized cable rides. Daddy is quite afraid when we were already seated, while my son on the other hand was so thrilled to see the ground and even tried to touch some branches and the leaves of trees. I’m so sad that we forgot to bring along our camera so I am still waiting for our picture from the PR. This ride will show you the beauty of the forest since it was the longest ride of them all.

They said that the Tree Drop Adventure and Interactive Free Fall Adventure are the best ride to try if you want to experience your heart to get out from your chest for just a second. Maybe next time we visit this place we can try it (naks!)
It’s good to know if you accidentally forgot to bring your camera also like me, they have Tree Top photographers to take your pictures. They sell it for P250. But unfortunately, the group was about to leave already while we where checking out our photos so we didn’t have a chance to get it.
I hope that this place will be taken cared off well, since I want that when my son grew up and have a family on his own, will visit this place in the future and remember the time that we have spent here (teary eyed hahaha)
After this trip, we had lunch at Aristocrat Restaurant. We were so hungry that we have ordered lots of foods on their menu. Check out my post about it on my other blog- http://www.levyousa.com/2013/05/aristocrat-restaurant-the-home-of-the-best-barbeque-in-town/
If you have plans to visit Subic, then I advise you to drop by the Tree Top Adventure while you are there and experience some activities that they offer. Check their website here: http://www.treetopadventureph.com/

They are the same group that handles the one in Baguio and they have similar rides. I also enjoyed my tree top adventure in Baguio. Hope to try it too in Subic.
