List of Accredited Homeschool Providers
I forgot to update you that we have decided to homeschool my 4 years old son this school year. I posted last time why I was considering it – click HERE.
When I attended the HAPI Philippines Homeschool Conference last May, I was convinced by the two guests speakers: Bo Sanchez and Debra Bell to push homeschooling. And, of course I prayed hard if this will be right for us.

We are not currently enrolled in any of these providers. I am doing an independent homeschooling, and I just did our own curriculum. And we are thankful that we survived the first week of our homeschooling program, and I will post about it on my next post.
Madel says
Hi Ms Lea,
Do you have idea po how much is the homeschooling in New Era Pampanga? Thank you so much
Mesh says
Hi po, I have a question, what is the advantage of a homeschool na u.s. curriculum?
also, the advantage of having your child enroll in International British Academy?
Mommy Levy says
the only reason we chose IBA is because it is the nearest homeschool provider in our area and we can go to school once a week to attend club if we want to.

Good day. Sana po mabasa at makasagot kayo. Salamat po. Godless.
Mommy Levy says
Leonor says
hello Mommy Levy,
Join Homeschool Philipines group sa Facebook to ask for more information.
Mommy H says
Hi Mommy Levy, if you are doing an independent homeschooling, are you registered under any homeschooling provider? How is this accredited by the DepEd? We’re currently weighing our options before my daughter enters K2. Thanks!
Mommy Levy says
independent homeschooling means you are not registered under any provider. You make your own topic to discuss. Your child need to take an exam at DepEd if you want the school year to be credited (not necessary every year). I suggest to join groups in Facebook for homeschooler so that you can ask questions there. I might not be able to answer all your inquiries since I still consider myself a newbie in homeschooling.
Angela says
Hi mommy Levy,
Where can we get the k-12 curriculum ng Deped? I am planning to homeschool my son, incoming 4th grader, and mag indie sana ako.
Thanks 🙂
Mommy Levy says
Maybe this site can help – https://lrmds.deped.gov.ph/grade/4
sinearch ko lang pero I haven’t tried it
Fe Cenita says
Hi, Mommy levy. My son is 4 years old, He has special needs. Is homeschooling ok for him?
Mommy Levy says
it depends on the situation mommy, nakikinig ba sya sa’yo pag tinuturuan (some kids kasi sa ibang tao lang nakikinig even typical kids).
Ligaya says
Hi mommy Levy,
Good Day! I just want to ask if homeschooling needs to go to Dep. Ed to take the exam every month? Because me and his dad are planning to do homeschooling for our 5yo son this School year 2018-2019. And we just want to make our own curriculum accredited by Deped.
Thank you so much for your time &
GOD BLESS!
Mommy Levy says
no, you don’t need to do that, ayaw din ng DepED ng ganun as far as I know. Once a year is enough. Please join homeschooling groups in Facebook, mas madaming moms/parents ang pwede sumagot sa inquiry mo (at mas tama base on their experience). We are under an accredited provider and they are the one sending our reports to DepEd kasi.
Nora says
Hello Mommy Levy, I am actually looking for a school for my 3 kids. They stop schooling for a year now because we traveled a lot due to work. Can you recommend me one? I am in Mandaluyong.
Mommy Levy says
if you travel a lot then homeschooling is perfect for your lifestyle. For regular school, I am not familiar with schools in Mandaluyong.
Annie says

Mommy Levy says
Hi mommy Stephanie, for first time homeschoolers plus since graduating na din ang mga anak mo ng highschool, I highly recommend to get a provider na accredited ng DepEd para macredit ang year nila na iho homeschool. Yes ang curriculum ay manggagaling sa provider na mapipili nyo tapos at the end of the year mag iexam sila para mabigyan ng grades.
Pearl Beraquit says
Gsto ko po kc ienroll anak k grde 1 sya this coming june kaya lag she can’t walk pa right now.
Rej says
This is very helpful. Thank you!
marilou says

Hi mommy levy
Mayroon po ako son 8yrs old. Grade 3. May maintenace po sya for epeliptic/ seizure. Pag may nagbbully po sa kanya sa klase nagttantrum po sya na nagwawala sa class which is i observe na prang the teacher doesnt want him there. One time nagtxt sakin na nakipag away daw my son and pagsabihan ko daw coz twice na raw un. I ask my kid why he did that. Now i am looking for homestudy sana sa kanya kasi naaawa naman ako if lalaki syang d nag aaral. Pls help me po sana kung saan po, papanu at how much po kaya. Tnx po
Mommy Levy says
hi mommy, I suggest to consult a Developmental Pediatrician first para ma evaluate ang bata kung san nanggagaling ang bad behavior at kung anong tulong o therapy ang pwedeng gawin. There are a lot of homeschool providers that will help you with materials and lesson plan. You can contact all the providers on my list so that you can choose po. In homeschooling, the parents are the one teaching the kid po, yung provider is for materials lang.
Art Dalisay says

Hello, Ma’am,
I have a son who was bullied two years ago, when he was in Grade 7. He does not want to return to regular school. May I ask if there is a home school program in Bulacan? And is it ok if I get a tutor to teach the program because I’m a working mom. Would be grateful for your reply and help. Thank you so much.
Mommy Levy says
mommy, I think you can do that. Please contact any homeschool providers listed above. Or if you want you can ask here – https://www.facebook.com/hapihomeschooler/
Ellinor T. Santos says
Will do that. Thank you so much 🙂
Btw, is there a community/group with similar difficulties with children with special needs, where I can join? Hope you can reply again. Thanks so much

Hello mommy Levy! I am thinking of homeschool for our 2 boys, a 10 y/o and a 5y/o. We have just arrived from UK and at the moment we are trying to start a new life here in the Philippines. They loved it here. They loved that they are close to their cousins plus we have more family time. Our boys doesn’t speak tagalog at all. Our eldest can understand but can’t read or even say a word. The little one cannot understand tagalog at all. My husband and I thought of sending them to Manila but not just yet maybe homeschooling will be much better for them at the moment. We live here in Batangas, and i wonder if you can suggest a few sites or links that has got a good review re homeschooling.
Thanks very much.
Kind regards,
Monique

Wendy M says
Hello Mommy Levy,
While I’m reading the inquiries, I saw na may option to do my own home schooling sa anak ko as long as sundin ang DepEd curriculum. How does that work? Does it mean na considered siya officially graduate once he finished Grade 12 curriculum?
The reason why I’m asking is because my son is delayed but he goes to regular school with regular tutor. I’m a single mother working on a graveyard shift, so challenge for me to take him to school if ever enroll ko siya sa accredited home school kase wala malapit sa area namin and challenge din talaga for him if he goes to a regular school, aside from the fact that it would really be too costly for me. Gusto ko siya makatapos mag-aral despite his condition and I would like to also take advantage of the fact of his willingness to finish.
Please enlighten me. I really appreciate your time. Thank you in advance.
Mommy Levy says
hi Wendy,
Kasi pag accredited homeschool provider may exam sila don para ma credit ang years na pinag aralan nyo ng anak mo, if hindi kasi at gagawa ka lang ng curriculum mo dadalhin mo din sya sa DepEd para pagtake-in ng exam (hindi ko alam ang process if direct kayo pupunta). Please follow https://www.facebook.com/hapihomeschooler/ and PM them for questions. Thanks!
Mheann tonz says

Mommy Levy says
the price depends on the provider na kukunin mo. Usually the price ranges from 5K-30K per year ata. I’m not sure though
Judith says
salmat po sa idea mommy Levy.
Olivia paulino says

Jhing says
Hi mommy Levy, I’m a widowed mom with two daughters. I am working here in Abu Dhabi and have decided to bring my kids here by April ’17 and me and my kids have planned to just enroll them in homeschool program in the Philippines. I would like to know if home- school students are will have to visit the school as required during the school year? I am asking this because it will be impossible for my kids to do that since they will be staying here in Abu Dhabi.
I hope you will enlighten me with my doubts.
Thank you.

Hi mommy levi,
I have a 9 year old deaf son and im homeschooling him for 3 years now. I haven’t enrolled him since i cant find any school catering a homeschool program for deaf. Before home schooling, he attended a public school for deaf children , but i wanted to focus in teaching him reading and math. So far we’re doing great but we (my husband and me) heard lots of criticism as to why we dont enroll our son. Do you know any school where i can enroll my son that will allow us to continue our homeschooling?
Thank you very much and God bless you.
Mommy Levy says
Sorry, na confuse ako… ienroll mo sya sa school but you will continue homeschooling? You can check School Of Tomorrow po.
Emma says
Hi,
I googled home schooling and found lots of I don’t know which one should I take.
How did you start your own curriculum? And what/where are the resources? Do you just print the materials or do you have any website that you can get these from?
I work full time so, it’s pretty hard to manage and comes up with something for a daily lesson plan.
I hope you can enlighten me with his. Thank you so much.
Emma
Mommy Levy says
Hi Emma,
I just did some research and printed my own materials. If you will enroll in a homeschool provider, they can give you books and materials to use plus guidelines on how to do it.

I have no idea Princess, I think it is not required.
Ligaya B. Villanueva says
Good evening Mom Levy! I am from Binalonan, Pangasinan and I am planning to let my grade 3 boy do the homeschooling by next year. Can you help me understand how home schooling is done , please? He came from a good school in Baguio City, but for some unexpected reasons, the family had to move to Binalonan.I am just worried with my very smart boy attending a private school in town with teachers and students who hardly speak English in class, an overcrowded classroom, and some students who fight and shout at the top of their voice while the teacher is around and even say bad words to their teachers. I am saddened by the kind of athmosphere in that school and this made me realize to have my boy do homeschooling next school year.
Thank you so much and i appreciate every details you would be extending in me. Good evening and i hope to hear from you.

I always have deep respect and pride for homeschooling parents as it truly entails commitment and courage to do so. Kudos to you!! What you are doing would truly pay eternal dividends in the life of your child and the people he /she would be influencing even now and in the future. Angat sa iba ang homeschool kids!:)

Hi.
I was homeschooled as a child back in the 80’s where homeschooling was not yet recognized and now that I have my own kids I homeschool them too.
I understand what difficulties homeschool families had and are encountering.
To help other homeschooling families and would be homeschoolers
My homeschool family friends and I opened Gopala Play Center last 2008
We help and assist homeschool families and those who would like to homeschool
with curriculum and accreditations.
We also provide workshops and activities where homeschool children and mainstreamed
children and their families can mingle, have fun and learn!
Hope to help anyone interested.

Hi,
I’m planning to homeschool my child in kinder. I’m quite confuse about being not enrolled in any homeschool providers. Is it possible to make my own curriculum for my child. Will DepEd allow it and will it not become a conflict on the future of my child especially in college education.
Mommy Levy says
Hi Mommy Kris, I got two response for your question:
from http://trulyrichmom.com/
Based on what I know, it is possible to homeschool Kinder without being enrolled and using your own curriculum. You can use the K curriculum guide of DepEd available on http://www.nanaynotebook.blogspot.com as a guide. I don’t think it will be a problem in college because what most universities and colleges look at are high school records – they don’t go as far as back as Kinder. To be extra safe though, a parent can opt to have their kids take DepEd’s validation tests. I hope this helps somehow! God bless!
from Mommy Jade
We’re independent, we’re not enrolled with a homeschool provider. We just choose our materials from a curriculum catalog. As for DepEd accreditation, we’ll cross the bridge when we get there but at least I know that we can have exams taken just to be “accredited”. I think there is also another national exam our kids can take. Also don’t forget about the record keeping part, and to keep a porfolio of your child’s work.
Hope they answered your question.
kris says
Thanks for the information. So it means I can homeschool my child until high school without enrolling her to any homeschool providers as long as I follow the Deped curriculum? Enrolling to homeschool providers is quite costly, so I might take this suggestion instead. Thanks!

HI, Mommy Levy! 🙂 I have a blog dedicated to homeschooling (www.teachermamatina.blogspot.com) aside from http://www.trulyrichmom.com, in case you need some homeschool links and resources. 🙂
Also, if you don’t mind me asking, are you Catholic? 🙂 We have a FB Support Group Page for Catholic Homeschoolers in the Philippines, ROCKERs Philippines, if you’d like to join us. (We don’t mind if you’re NOT Catholic, by the way, though ROCKERs stands for Roman Catholics Keeping Education Real). 😀 We have moms who are also based abroad and I usually get a lot of support, encouragement and helpful resources from the group. Do let me know if you want to join it.
FYI, I’m an email subscriber to your blog. 😀 Hehe! I actually saw you at the Doc McStuffins event but was too shy to approach you. Hehe!
Let me know how else I can help you with homeschooling (though I am NOT an expert myself, haha!).
God bless!
