Promil Four iShine Talent Camp 7: SCHEDULE, LOCATION and FEE
Promil Four’s i-Shine Talent Camp is a talent development program in partnership with experts to nurture the gifts of children ages 6 to 11 years old.
For this year 2019, there will be 4 venues: Metro Manila, Batangas, Cebu and Davao.
I got an invite to attend the media launch at Maybank Theater in BGC the other day.
The event started with a talk by Dra. Leticia Penano-Ho, the President of the Philippine Center for Gifted Education.
She talked about how we parents should document our child’s journey to further help them develop their skills. I agree with her on this one, documentation is really important, doing this will help you to know if your child needs help on other areas or doing great on some areas so that you can nurture them more.
Who among you doesn’t know this gifted girl in the 90’s who got famous in a Promil commercial too? I was in elementary or Highschool I think when I saw her video. Shaira Luna went to a medical school but then decided to be a photographer because that is where she is happier. I like that she followed her passion.
She talked about Creative Documenting and Scrapbooking. I was surprised how her mom kept all the things about her in an album, and she was happy to look at them now that she’s older. I felt pressured when I saw her mom’s collections of pictures, achievements and even the smallest thing. In this digital world, even though doing this is easier, unfortunately, some of us can’t find time to do it. I feel that I need to organize my son’s pictures and other stuff in a portfolio soon.
After the talk and workshop, Dimples Romana (who has been hosting the i-Shine Talent Camp ever since the beginning), introduced us to the respected teachers of the 5 talent camps – ART, MUSIC, DANCE camps
All 5 mentors showed us a glimpse of what is in store for the kids who will join their camps.

For THEATER:
Trumpets Playshop led by stage veteran, Audie Gemora, let your child learn the value of versatility in Theater Camp as he/she immerses himself/herself in acting on-stage.

For BALLET:
Nurture your child who is potentially gifted in having smooth, fluent, and delicate movements on stage. With Ballet Manila led by Liza Macuja, your child will learn the value of discipline in Ballet camp while demonstrating steps and gestures that express emotions.

For ART CAMP:
Is your child expressing his/her love for arts & crafts? With experts, Tr. Robert Alejandro and Tr. Kara Escay, your child will learn the techniques for drawing, painting, and crafting while creatively bringing to life their imagination.

If your child has an interest in music, let him/her join Music Camp as he/she will learn new songs, explore instruments, and understand the value of harmony with the help of the Music School of Ryan Cayabyab.

For DANCE CAMP:
Nurture your child’s gift of dancing and grooving to the beat in the dance camp. With G-Force led by Teacher Georcelle, your child will learn the value of unity by coordinating and collaborating with other kids and their dance teachers.

Yay may schedule na! My son joined last year and he was happy with Art Camp. I hope more moms nurture their kids’ talents at an early age. It’s really rewarding once nakita mo kung ano yung talent/s ng anak mo.
Ang tagal na ng Promil, I still remember the commercial of Shaira Luna. Feeling ko nga magiging scientist siya but of course, there is nothing wrong in following your passion.
Uyy I like the idea of the portfolio Shaira’s mom did. Hilig ko din magscrapbook pero hindi ko pa magawan si Enzo talagaaaaa..

I love how Promil encourages parents to help develop their kids’ talents. I want to enroll my eldest son to an art camp. Sana lang they add more venues here sa South.
I like how brands and companies go beyond selling and promoting their products. Such program helps parents parent their kids and help the little ones realize their full potential.
