Westgate Restaurants That You Must Visit

This holiday season, there are a lot of people in the malls and most restaurants are jam-packed. I’m happy that here in the south we have Westgate to visit where we could eat quietly and peacefully.

Last weekend, we went here to have our lunch. We chose from the following restaurants: Neil’s Kitchen because they have an Instagrammable place and unique dishes, Butamaru because I heard that they serve one of the best tasting ramens in town and Brother’s Burger because my husband loves burgers and we haven’t tried their version’s yet. 

But we chose to dine at Alba Restaurante Espanol because my son wants to try spanish dishes. They offer a lunch buffet for P675 per head.

Here are some of the food available in their buffet table

Lengua Sevillana – stewed ox-tongue with mushroom and olives in rich Sherry brown sauce.

Pescado a la Romana- Pan-fried fillet of fish served with garlic mayonnaise

Pasta con Chorizo – Pasta with chorizo de Bilbao

Paella Valenciana – Valencian rice dish with chicken, pork, seafoods and vegetables

Cochinillo Asado – Oven roasted suckling pig

Pierna de Cerdo Frito – deep fried pork leg (aka crispy pata)

Champignon al Ajillo – button mushroom in olive oil, garlic and chili pepper

Coca de Filipino – Majorcan pie with sisig

Mejillones al Horno – baked mussels

We were so full after a few trips to the buffet table. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to try all the dishes. The paella made me full already. Ren really loves it.

For desserts, we had the following

After our trip at Alba, we passed by at Earth Origins too. It was my first time to enter their small store. To my surprise there are carrying a lot of items from various companies too. 

This Coffee Nibbler interest me so I bought one (P430 for a tub). Then I also got a castor oil for my eyelashes and brows from Beachborn. 

Next time, I will try some of their dishes. 

Besides the restaurants I have mentioned above, there are other restaurants in Westgate that are worth visiting. If you pass by the area try to dine here. 

Next time, we will visit Butamaru and Niel’s Kitchen.
