Top Most Influential Men of 2009: Is Manny Pacquiao in the list?
This is another good news we Filipinos should be proud of, our boxing champ Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao made it to the Top 49 Most Influential Men in 2009.Β He was ranked No.24, and why wouldn’t he be? He became the first Filipino and Asian boxer to win five world titles in five different weight divisions. He was rated by the Ring Magazine as the #1 pound-for-pound boxer in the world. He is also the first boxer to win the lineal championship in four different weight classes. Aside from being a boxer, he has also participated in politics, acting and music recording. He really deserves to be one of those men.
On November 14, Pacquiao is slated to face WBO welterweight champion Miguel Γngel Cotto of Puerto Rico, at the MGM Grand Las Vegas. I am so excited for this fight. Cotto might look big for Manny but remember that David beat Goliath.
I would like to post one comment from Askmen, and this is for you Cotto:
manny is the best, listen dude nobody knock morales, nobody knock marquez and nobody small guy knock dela joya only paquiao made it…
